Spread, rankings, location of game and quality of teams backs me up.

Not sure if it ain't a generational thing, since I see very similar behavior with our local high school football team. Kids these days seem to have an "I quit!" mentality when a challenge seems too great for them.

You may have a point. I do think sometimes when things aren't going their way, many have a tendency to say "screw it, we'll go to the next game. Maybe things will go our way next week."

I'm retired and out at the golf course when our local high school team practices/plays. I know all the kids and give them crap about a lot of things. One thing is when they think all the breaks should go their way. The better ones accept the breaks won't go their way all the time and will "grind" through the bad breaks.

If we finish strong. Losr to Vandy and Bowl Game and it is 9-4. This is very likely thanks to the crap with Jeremy Banks and the defense.

Just wanna say, nothing personal against any Tennessee fans, all you guys on here seem pretty cool.

But as many times as we've been crushed by UT, no matter if we were the better team, where the game was played, no matter the records, I'll take a victory any way I can get it, knowing y'all might win the next 6 or 8

Sout Carolina deserves big win. Credit to your fan base putting up with all the losing. I know first hand with Tennessee as well. Granted, there were some obnoxious bandwagon Tennessee fans this year.
