GAME #7 Southern Cal @ #16 UCLA, 5pm Pacific, Fox

And the dumb dunce db tried to block the pass instead of stopping the player and making it a 4th down

welp, that's probably game

Bullshit to take victory formation and try to game the clock. Slime should take their heads off the next two plays

BIG win. Next week is a bigger game vs a better team

I would not want to face Caleb in a CFP. Obviously the defense needs some work. That dude is so freakish
I would love to face USC in the CFP. Let’s see how good he is when they play a team that actually plays D.

Exciting game to watch.

I'd be far more concerned about our defense vs. your offense than I would be about our offense vs. your defense.

We'd score some points (more than Oregon did anyway)...but our defense is not ready for the cfp.

I see what you are saying, but I watched the UCLA v. USC game last night, or most of it. Neither team played any defense. That means your O doesn't know what it is like when you go up against a team that actually can stop your run game, and DBs who can play press coverage and stay with your receivers. Your QB was hitting guys who were wide open all night long. They won't be wide open against teams that have a D, and he will be getting pressure he wasn't getting last night.

The announcers literally said the first team to punt will lose. What they were saying is that each team was going to score every time they got the ball. You won't get that against UGA, Michigan, tOSU.

It's not that you won't score, of course you will. It's just that you won't be able to count on scoring 40 - 50 points. More like 14-28 points at most. Then what you say is true - how can your D stop the O of teams who are averaging 40+ points against better defenses.

Washington State is the top D looking at scoring Defense in the PAC - they are 23rd. Utah is 24th. Your O is good, but a huge part of that is that you have been playing against bad Ds all season. That'll catch up with you when you play a D that can stop you more often.

This is basically what I'm saying. Our defense's main way of stopping teams this year has been by forcing turnovers. That's great for the regular reason and can win a lot of regular season games for you. But at some point, you have to be able to get a 3 and out to take control of a game or to put a game away.

Our defense hasn't shown that it can do that and last night was a perfect example. During the entire 2nd half, the offense kept extending the lead to 10 and the defense kept letting UCLA cut it to 3. One 3 and out followed by a TD and the game is all but over...but our defense couldn't get it. If not for that interception by Korey Foreman, UCLA likely would have at least forced OT.

I could see our offense scoring 24-31 points, but I can't see our defense holding your offense to less than 40+.
