I mean, we all know Joe Morgan didn't get stats and what baseball was becoming...there was a whole website dedicated to tearing apart anything he said when he was analyzing a game (FIRE JOE MORGAN).

The man did not understand modern baseball.

My favorite is when people bring up the rare pitcher that can actually hold a bat somewhat competently. Like Madison Bumgarner. Who is still a career .177 hitter. And thats one of the better hitting pitchers.

My biggest beef with modern baseball is the lack of bunting. So many close games this postseason and I don't recall a single bunt. I get the analytics but that's one I'd ignore. Move the runner
