Week 12 LOL’s

I can't even get upset with McCarthy. Our WR's are absolute trash. We don't have a WR who have a guy who get separation downfield. We don't have a guy who can win 50/50 balls. We don't have the big body guy you can just throw it up to.

We have a bunch of possession WR's.
The fun and most suffering thing about this game, is sometimes it doesn't matter.. all stats, yearly play making/calls, players, skills become a wash and one little wrinkle that either team figures out first can be a nightmare for the other.. "Biakabutuka".. hate googling that name everytime trying to get the spelling...

On that note doubt either side has everyone healthy so will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Oh and fuck you guys.

If we put this to a poll, the biggest LOL has got to be Tennessee, no close second, right?

I mean, what was that?

Very true. In the end - these are kids. If one team finds an advantage they can exploit, they will do so and continue to until it is stopped. Sometimes it just isn't stopped, like OSU and crossing patterns a few years ago or UM last year with pounding the football with Haskins.

You never know.

Douche bag move. Apparently he thinks the gravy train might be derailed soon

The article is written kind of fucky, but it seems Tucker fell under the pandemic pay reduction, but his assistants did not. At least that's the way I read it.
i.e. Tucker took a $432,250 haircut, but his assistants received full salary.

"That deal was scheduled to give Tucker nearly $5.5 million in basic annual compensation for the 2021 season, although he – like other Michigan State athletics department employees -- was still working under a 12-month pandemic-related pay reduction. The reduction had begun on Sept. 1, 2020, and had been set to result in a $266,000 overall reduction in compensation for Tucker, including $166,250 during his contract year that included the 2021 season."

"For the 2021 season, Michigan State’s football assistant coaches were scheduled to receive amounts ranging from $250,000 to $1.05 million, including annual retention amounts, but not including the pandemic-related reductions or bonuses each was scheduled to receive for the Peach Bowl appearance under the athletics department’s bonus policy."

MSU is paying him $183,000 a week over 10 years. Can't imagine he is hurting for $100k bonus. It was more just a dick move. That money would mean something to an assistant, it is half a weekly paycheck for him.
