Here is the thing about Chadwell and Coastal Carolina that most people don't realize there is a former coach named Joe Moglia who is also the former CEO of TD Ameritrade and he is greatly involved in all the football related decisions and operations and puts a ton of money into the program to maintain that power. He runs CC football like a business and has a say in almost everything and he is damn good at it.

So when you look at Coastal's success you have to factor in the money coming into the program and who is actually pulling the strings and I don't think it's Chadwell. In fact, I don't think Chadwell puts any game plan together that Moglia doesn't put his stamp of approval on.

So take that into consideration.

I shouldn't be angry at you. You weren't even that bad before all of this crap. I did get tired of you and @NewPhoneWhoDis constantly bragging about Georgia but I don't think you meant to be turds about it, I think you guys were just speaking the truth. I think if you were in the shoes of a Tennessee fan, you would be a little more understanding instead of being the fan of a program which has seen massive success over last 15-20 years.

Regarding OP, I don't see what is wrong with what they did. I did NOT celebrate about a #1 ranking because it was just a bullseye on our back but I can get why people would be excited when a program was 3-7 just two years ago and was at rock bottom or it has been through 15-16 years of hell. Your 1981 doesn't compare. Your program didn't have 8 losing seasons out of 15 years or lose 15 straight to one rival and only beat another rival twice in twenty years. Yeah Georgia went a while without a title but at least you were beating Florida, Georgia Tech and have 10-11 win seasons and were in the mix. I imagine 2017 was very rough on Georgia (kind of like this South Carolina game for us) but I don't remember tons of Tennessee fans coming in and talking smack to Georgia right after the game and flooding their social media websites.

Unfortunately from SEC standpoint, you maybe right. Next year looks great for Georgia even though they lose a lot because most of the other teams either will have issues or lose more. Tennessee is likely an 8-4 or 7-5 type team unless Joe Milton or Nico Iamaleava just grow up quickly and the defense is massively better. Florida is in trouble. Auburn is down. Kentucky is likely going to be worse.

I think the SEC East bottom is improving. Missouri and Vanderbilt will both be better but are not a threat to Georgia (they are to Florida, Tennessee, etc.). South Carolina might be the greatest threat if they can build on the momentum of their upset. I think South Carolina has to play Clemson close (not necessarily win) to show they are improving. If they get blown out, it will be rough.

In the West, Alabama maybe down without Bryce Young. LSU is starting to get a lot better so that maybe one challenger. I know Auburn is in the West but I mentioned them earlier because they are an annual opponent for Georgia. Georgia would only see Alabama/LSU on rotating basis and in Atlanta. The rest of the West is not worth bringing up unless Texas A&M somehow does a 180 and the talent lives up to billing and Jimbo Fisher actually turns into a good coach.

I don't know about next year, as I really don't know who is losing what in the SEC or even elsewhere or who Georgia even plays next year.

I think this year -- Georgia is going to win, as they are the only complete team. They have the offense to score with anyone and they have the best defense. Can't say I know much about their special teams though.

I think the only way Georgia loses is if they have a game like they did against Missouri where they turned the ball over multiple times.

We don’t lose a lot. We are a young team this year. Lost 15 to the NFL last year. We will have a new QB, but we are stacked with talent there. Beck is in his 3rd year and has looked really good this year.
