THE Game #3TTUN @ #2tOSU Noon on Fox.

Good game, Michigan. Just plain out executed Ohio State.

A lot of people will blame coaching I'm sure but the game plan was sound IMO. Dropped passes and drive killing penalities on offense and the inability of our defensive backfield not to constantly get lost in coverage.

Gonna go put up Christmas decorations with my kids, lick my wounds, and cry myself to sleep. Be back tomorrow

GG man. I thought OSU's gameplan was fine, maybe they should have taken a few more deep shots.

Lol yes the game plan by Day was great if you are Michigan

they put up 492 yards on a defense averaging 241.3 yards per game. they were only the second team to put up 20+ on us all year. you were moving the ball, you just didn't finish several drives. shot yourselves in the feet with some dumb penalties. Michigan defense came up big when they needed to (especially that breakup in the 4th to prevent a TD).

That’s exactly the problem. They get the big play but the last 2 years they turtle on a shorter field. Day is clueless on play calling when it’s gotta be short-mid range.

Welp, just got home from a very depressing cookout/party for today's game. @MAIZEandBLUE09, @Voltaire, @basement bias and all the rest of you UM fans, congrats on your wolverines kicking ohio state's dick in the dirt for the 2nd consecutive season. No excuses from me, my Buckeyes just got their ass beat, as much as I hate to say it.

Modern-day John Cooper.

Oh, and please, PLEASE dear GOD do not let the committee decide that the Buckeyes still "ought" to be a top-4 team. This team was exposed, they probably shouldn't even be top-10. Mentally soft like baby shit

I'm gonna go eat a huge pile of leftover mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and stuffing in my room. I need comfort.

Y’all need help, but the path is there and very realistic. Need UGA to beat LSU and either USC or TCU to drop a game, probably preferably USC since there’s still a chance a one loss TCU would get the nod over them

It is a tough defense to finish on. We kept two safeties over the top, so throwing downfield is tough. We really only brought a blitz a few times and OSU showed UM why they can't do that, as they threw a 42 yard TD to Harrison.

Michigan just connected on the big plays today. What is crazy is -- Michigan had one 60+ yard td this year coming into the game. We had 4 of them today. I do think OSU should have been throwing the ball more than they ran, but they were trying to take what the defense was giving them.

But they dont deserve it. Too soft.

What team isn’t soft this year? TCU has walked a tight rope all season, USC has the typical Lincoln Riley defense, LSU got blown out at home by Tennessee, Alabama has two losses and didn’t win their division, Clemson just lost to South Carolina. You get beyond the top two, none of the rest are really impressive and OSU has enough talent to beat any team in the country.

Running it wasn’t the problem it was their selection of run plays that was the problem. They were having nice success running inside then all of a sudden switched it up to trying to run the slow developing outside runs that have not worked all year.

Also day punting and kicking a FG instead of going for it shows how soft he is. Especially since the defense was getting embarrassed not like he was leaning on a great D.

Georgia ... and I might include ohio state (we got lucky, and we will get even luckier if ohio state does not get a play off spot).

Even Georgia has laid a few eggs this year, we’re just fortunate they came against the right opponents

Thanks for trying to make me feel better, chewbs. Either that, or you're licking your chops at the idea of us squeaking in as the #4 seed and getting eviscerated by your Bulldawgs lol

Bittersweet again this year. My HS alma mater went to state in football again today and like last year we lost to the same team. Michigan winning helps make up for it like last year.

Like I said, of all the teams in contention, OSU scares me more than any of the rest from a matchup standpoint
