2023 Recruiting Thread

improved so much, they don't let him line up at wildcat..

Never knew the infatuation with Murray.. Grey came because of Riley.. Murray can't close on elite backs.. So you know what? Keep him lol.. BTW is it true that the new WRs coach is going to be Rashad Samples?
Well OU does lead the Big 12 in rushing. Not sure on the WR coach, haven't heard anything but I would like the go get Malcolm Kelly.

Looks like Ohio State is about to flip 4* DE Joshua Mickens (#113 overall), who's been committed to LSU since July.

would be a nice get. Finishing with him and Damon Wilson would be a good DL haul.

when you mix in DG rushes? Cause Bijan had more rushing yards than Grey, and more completion yards from the backfield. But like I said earlier if you are good with Murray, then I'm loving it :)

But if y'all get Samples to be your WR coach..gonna hate that one cause he's a witch on the trail, volume recruiter at that

not knocking the kid but i have a good friend who is a die hard buckeye fan.. he feels that they are settling here and thinks Damon Wilson looks at UGA harder now too

Why? Because we lost to Michigan? That seems to be a sentiment with a lot of fans right now.

As of now Wilson looks good for us.

Mickens basically is the plan B to Keeley whos Bama bound. Nothing to do with Wilson's recruitment. They were hoping for Wilson & Keeley but that's not happening now.

is that not settling? He also thinks Henderson and the other VA kid bounce to the portal too.. but he's emotional cause he's seen this coming for the past month and a half and it all came into fruition.

I guess? It's not a bad "settle" though. Not like we are reaching for some lightly recruited local 3* instead.

He's nuts. Henderson isn't transferring and the only possible over VA player is Tyliek Williams, who there is no reason to believe transfers either. I stand by that Day should be on very thin ice, but the players seem to like him, there's no locker room turmoil really from any accounts. Just way over dramatics from some fans. It was the same stuff last year, "mass exodus" was coming after we lost to Michigan and things were totally going to crash into the ground. That won't happen. As long as Day is there we are likely to win 10/11 games a year, lose to Michigan and not really seriously compete for national titles. It's not even near rock bottom by any means but it's not the glory we all want.

Cool. Another one you expected to get. That leaves 4 other guys left that you're leading for. I also said you'd probably finish 20-25 because I knew you had guys that were going to commit.
Michigan currently sits ranked 18th. We now lead for multiple 4 star kids left in the class, like Jyaire Hill. Taliafi Taala and Spencer Fano, and according to some, lead for 5 star Nyckoles Harbor. Michigan looking like we very well might end up in the top 15 after all.

Like I said back in July, calm down -- it's July.

Yeah, you guys have loaded up on 3 stars, which will help your cumulative rank. Your avg star rank still isn't top 20. If you get those guys, you probably will. Even though, it's still surprising you'd be okay with that, given the season you're having.

I'm OKAY with it because of where we were in February with Harbaugh trying to leave, losing both coordinators and a class looking like we might rank well outside the top 20. 2024 looking like it might be one of the best, if not the best, class we've ever had at Michigan. 2023 looks like we might recover fine from the coaching shambles of earlier this year.

That's fair. All that uncertainty didn't help. I'd expect the 2024 class to be much better, but it wouldn't surprise me if you lost both your coordinators again.

@Thiefery Denton Guyer beat Southlake Carroll 45 - 21. Jackson Arnold was impressive as usual. Does Denton play DeSoto next?

That's not Hick's squad.. there's like a dozen different Katy schools

ALWAYS knew he would comeback home.. Only reservation about this is.. he'll stick it out at aggy but man I was hoping for him.. he'd get away from his family.. they view him as a meal ticket, and they pretty much made a mockery of his recruitment. Aggy will deliver as promised, plus with only 1 other scholarship RB..he's gonna get carries
