Probably the biggest deal so far is the Mets extending Edwin Diaz.

Other notable signings:

Carlos Santana to the Pirates, 1/$6.75: Pirates To Sign Carlos Santana

Jose Abreu to Houston, 3/$58.5: https://hooplanation.com/forums/mlb-baseball/post-thread

Tyler Anderson to the Angels, 3/$39: Angels Sign Tyler Anderson

Mike Clevinger to the White Sox, 1/$12(?): White Sox To Sign Mike Clevinger

Padres kept Robert Suarez, 5/$46: Padres Re-Sign Robert Suarez

Padres also kept Nick Martinez, 1/$10 plus some weird options: Padres, Nick Martinez Agree To Three-Year Deal

"It’s the largest guarantee the Pirates have given to a free agent since inking Daniel Hudson to a two-year, $11MM deal before the 2017 season."

That's just fucking sad and pathetic. Should sell the team.

For a 36-year-old 1B/DH with an 89 OPS+ the last three years.

Tigers signed Boyd back. 1 yr 10 mil

Kolten Wong to Seattle, Jesse Winker and Abraham Toro to Milwaukee, per MLB.com.

Wong's a very solid 2B, though they should look for a platoon partner (he struggles against lefties). Winker had a rough year but I would expect a bounce back season, especially if he's going to be going from T-Mobile Park to American Field Park (feels so dirty not calling them Safeco or Miller Park, ugh).

Red Sox signed Chris Martin to 2 yrs/$17.5M. I like it, especially when we've had a dearth of relievers with good command.

Rangers still need more pitching depth. After deGrom it still isn't very good (Perez/Gray/Dunning/Otto), and it's hard to see Perez repeating his 2022 success.

And that's before accounting for deGrom throwing 156.1 innings the last two seasons. He's an amazing pitcher, but he's had trouble staying on the mound.

They have no bullpen to speak of either. Their pen cost them a ton of games this year.

Yeah. Their record was much worse than I thought it was, but they did underachieve their pythag W-L big time. Their run differential suggested they were a 77 win team.

I don’t follow them really, but I live in the DFW suburbs. Seems like several times a week they’d have a late lead and lose.

Judge to White Sox? Most likely.

Will be interesting to see who tries to rehab Cody Bellinger.

A top 30 WAR of all time for seasons aged 21 to 23. Of those 30 guys the only one even close to Cody's drop off?

Ted Williams. Because he was in a war.

Detroit would be a nice landing place ... 5 year $70 Million Dollar with incentives to push it over $20 Million a Year. He goes to first base and Torkelson moves to third.

I was thinking that...if they managed to rehab him it would be a huge coup.

And Ted hit .342/.497/.667 with a 215 OPS+ and 10.6 WAR in his first season back after missing 1943-45.
