Its still early enough in his tenure. But right now as a game coach Ben Johnson looks no less shitty than Pitino.

Its the same thing every game. No adjustments. Just pass aroudn the perimeter and take awful shots with guys who mostly cant shoot. Like do they practice offense at all??

It's bad. He's gotta be on the hot seat entering next season. I doubt we even get to double digits wins this season. I get we have a nice class coming in, but that's all relative to what we normally bring in. In the grand scheme of things, they aren't going to take us from a bad team to a good team(tournament caliber). Too many portal misses, and overall, just a poorly coached team this season.

Yeah I think his freshman recruiting will give him a little wiggle room. But by the end of year 3 there has to be legit progress.

Hes been brutal in the portal. The in game coaching is an abomination. And this is the second straight year(im aware two injuries hurt) where hes forced to play guys like 30+ minutes when they shouldnt play more than 15.

Cooper should be more of a reserve. But he has to play like 40 minutes while being inconsistently initiating offense and one of the worst defenders in the league. Fox and Ihnen wouldnt help that issue. That was poor roster construction in the portal.
 
Also @ericd7633 would you mind trying to offer an explanation as to why TT starts each game/half? I'm at a complete loss.

I have always been of the belief that it doesnt matter who starts but who finishes. Both Buzz and Shaka(even wojo a little) have started defensive glue guys and brought in more gifted players off the bench. It can work.

But TT literally plays like 2 minutes each half. So if hes that goddamn bad that he can play about 5 minutes a game. Why are we having him set the tone of games?

Yeah, I don't get it. But there are a lot of things I don't get. Lmao. I still think TT has some potential, if he can put it together, but he has yet to do so. I can't really offer a reasoning because it doesn't make sense. Maybe he guaranteed him he would start to keep him around? Idk.
 
Iowa played absolutely awful the first half and is still up 11 but if they play like that second half they're going to lose

Whew, UVA pulled it out. Michigan could do no wrong in 1st half.
 
Nebraska getting 2 of the worst ACC teams (FSU and BC) back to back. Nice!

Tonight will most likely our last winnable game for a while though.
