But look at much of Europe... who had taken precautions...

and what good did it do?
Which reminds me, I wonder how Sweden's "Protect the vulnerable and the rest of you lick door knobs" policy is going. I know none of my fam in Gothenburg hasn't gotten it.

my insurance company
has sent two small refunds,
about $30 each
without even askin -
then my insurance compnay gave me renewal notice increasing it by 150/ 6 months.

Some states are mandating that insurers give back a portion of people's premiums. We've gotten two rebates on our state farm policy this year, along with a letter explaining why they did it

I don't know of any states that mandated it... most of us (the companies) did it voluntarily, when all of the sudden, our claims offices weren't getting the volume of calls due to lack of claims, since everyone was locked down.

That said - I wouldn't be shopping insurance right now, either. Yes - savings in the short term can be had, but the marketplace is too volatile. There are insurance companies out their arbitrarily lowering rates to "buy" business, but once this is all over, rates are going to go up. There was already upward pressure on premiums pre-Covid... and it's only goin to be exacerbated once employment numbers increase in confluence with others simply transitioning back into the office.

Those companies that drop rates for the short term, usually wind up with the largest increases (history ALWAYS repeats itself).... and those that were good customers, have lost benefits they might have otherwise enjoyed with their previous company.

Bottom line - you get what you pay for, ya chap asses.... and shopping around isn't always worth it.

Don't get into an accident in which you were deemed to be at fault.... and don't get any tickets... ;)

Nobody asks to see the surcharges BEFORE something happens.... :L

I’m not trying to be a smart ass, but why did you give your mom a ration of shit if you seem to be scoffing at “precautions”? :headscratch:

Next page! Next page!

Speaking of next... are we shutting these down at 10k still? I need a ruling.

Wtf?! Where is that fucking bird already?! It’s not funny anymore!

BUT..... did you miss the part that she had been in CLOSE proximity (same room, sharing a meal.... extended period of time) to my nephew, who had just been tested the day before? Maybe I should've mentioned that he had a fever, aches, etc etc.... but I thought "tested" and waiting for results was pretty self-explanatory. She shouldn't have been out and about until his results at a minimum were known.

I mean... there are certain lines..... don't you think?
