Not really deserving IMO, but good for him. Been a while since a UGA player has gone to NY. Was Knowshon the last one?

Nope, Bennett is the first Heisman Trophy finalist for Georgia in 30 years since running back Garrison Hearst in 1992.

He is totally deserving, although it helps that all the other candidates either got injured or shit the bed in their last appearances.
 
If Caleb Williams wins the Heisman I will personally go to NYC and take a shit on that stage
 
Hopefully Max gets rid of that creeper stache by Saturday. It's the most on brand Council Bluffs, IA thing ever but the rest of the country doesn't need to know that.

If Bryce didn’t fuck up his shoulder and didn’t have Pete Golding losing games he legit could have repeated. Really weak year for Heisman where nobody really deserves it.

That's two "if's" ... any more you want to throw in there? And this is from someone who respects Bama, and who knows that Bryce is the best QB in this class. But you Bama people have to learn how to not win (notice I didn't say lose) with some grace. FFS, you guys are some crazy SOBs.

I'd give it to Bennett, not because he is the best player in CFB, but because of what he has accomplished with Georgia in college. I can't really see him playing in the NFL, so it'd be a great way to end a story book career.
 
I'll have to get back to you tomorrow, but I am not sure yet which of the message boards I am enjoying melt down more - UTjr or Bama. UTjr is currently in the lead.

Stetson is way better than David Greene ever was. Aaron Murray was a better QB IMO, Stetson is more accomplished and has a better supporting class around him IMO

If I were to rank the top 5 UGA QBs of all time, I’d go something like:

1. Stetson Bennett
2. Charley Trippi
3. Buck Belue
4. Aaron Murray
5. Matt Stafford

Well, Trippi was primarily a RB not a QB. So I would take him out. Other than than that I agree. Damn, so close to your second ever post where you are right.
