Jalen Hyatt wins the Biletnikoff. Would have liked to see Harrison win it and I do think he is the better overall receiver (bias) but not upset bc Hyatt had a heck of a season.
 
Caleb Williams winning both the Maxwell and Walter Camp has got to be a good look for his Heisman odds

I was super happy that Xavier Hutchinson was a Finalist
I thought Hyatt was a deserving winner.
Harrison ain't bad either! :)
 
I also am very happy that Jake Campbell won the Butkus and the Campbell Awards. I am in no way shape or form a Hawkeye fan, but I've seen the kid play in person (vs. Colo. State in 2021), and he is a flat out baller.

I am also happy Duggan won the O'Brien Award! I saw him twice (2019 and 2021 @ ISU). He got his butt kicked in both games, but he's a good Iowa kid who was a great leader for his team this year.
 
Brock Bowers wins Mackey. Case could have been made for him or Michael Mayer.

Bowers should have won last year, but wasn’t even a finalist, probably shouldn’t have this year(just numbers wise, he’s still the best TE in the game), but did. Make up award

I think it came down to just being on a better team.

Mayer was about 85% of ND’s offense and top receiver by far. He also is the all time record holder for yards and TD’s by a TE at ND and he did it in 3 years. The guy he eclipsed (Eifert) won the Mackey.

And yeah it could be a makeup call but I’ve said they’re the two best all year and a case can be made for either to win it.

Could have gone either way, and wouldn't have been upset if Mayer got it. He's a more traditional TE, and a beast. Both will be making waves on Sundays.
