Addressing you all in one post.
1. Attacking Georgia - I have on multiple posts stated that I felt Georgia is the "best" team in this thread. I do have red flags that I will get to in a minute with Georgia and I think I am spot on with some of these concerns and this is why you are getting your getting so argumentative. I also even stated that I would vote right now for Stetson Bennett for Heisman. You also don't see me going around constantly railing on teams we beat or referring to teams as "jr" in troll post. I can be very argumentative at times on this board, especially because I am argue positions that I truly believe that others disagree with. I am going to get to that position about Georgia in a minute.
2. Georgia-Tennessee - @WhosYourDawggy has a big issue with me saying Tennessee's offense did not play well that game and wants me to 100% acknowledge it is all Georgia's defense. I 100% disagree having watched Tennessee play all 12 games this season (well I missed the opener against Akron, I was at a work party). Tennessee's offense in the first half made tons of mistakes including overthrows, penalties, lining up incorrect, taking too long on the play clock (look how many times we nearly got to 0, that wasn't Tennessee's offense). I do think the offense started to rally in second half but the defensive pressure came on then and our offensive line gave out. I give Georgia credit in second half because that was the first time that I have seen the offensive line fall apart like it did all season. Kudos to Georgia there. However, you can't say it was 100% Georgia's defense because Georgia's defense put up stats against Tennessee that they did NOT put up during the course of the full season. If you look at the stats around the game, the Georgia-Tennessee game looks more like an aberration for both teams because neither team fits how they did the rest of the season. Georgia had 4 sacks or something against Tennessee. No one else in the SEC East did that and Georgia wasn't putting those numbers up against other SEC teams, even ones that were vulnerable to sacks. You can't discount the impact of the penalties, overthrows, Tennessee not having a great game plan (especially in first half), not snapping the ball until clock is near 0, etc. Georgia's defense doesn't cause those mistakes. Tennessee clearly wasn't ready for a prime-time game and it showed. It shows more the weakness of Tennessee and perhaps that we weren't ready to be a playoff contender than it says Georgia is great. These facts have also been supported by comments from players and coaches on both sides of the ball for the game. But I know you know more than they do. People on this forum are bad about that.
3. My red flags with Georgia - I have concerns with Georgia. They haven't been challenged with their schedule. I said the same thing about Ohio State but their fans didn't go into a frenzy. @osubuckeye89 was far more logical and calm in his responses to me. That doesn't mean that I don't think Georgia is the best team. I also though Ohio State was a great team and I still think that. I just think Georgia hasn't been put in a spot that really challenges them yet. All their big matchups (LSU, Oregon, and Tennessee) where in situations were they had the crowd and momentum advantage. What bothers all of you is that I TRULY believe that Georgia would not go unbeaten if they played a tougher schedule similar to Alabama and I believe there are several teams including Alabama and Ohio State that are unbeaten with Georgia's schedule. How will Georgia perform in the playoffs? It is to be seen. I am sorry, Georgia hasn't impressed me like others such as @NewPhoneWhoDis . I know you want me to get on here and claim you are the best team ever. I heard the say shit leading up to the game in Athens. I don't believe that. So sue me. I think you might be the best team in 2022 but you really had a schedule teed up for you to go 12-0 on. This is why I picked Georgia as my top option in @CoalTrain even though I thought Alabama was the best team at the time. I wouldn't be 100% surprised if Georgia loses to Ohio State. I think Georgia has the better team but if Ohio State can keep it close, Ohio State has already been punched in the mouth and had to play a solid opponent. I haven't seen Georgia in a real battle against a quality opponent yet. The Oregon and Tennessee games were just not good measurement stick because both teams laid an egg and had a lot of intangibles against them and for Georgia. Don't give me South Carolina either because you know that is just trolling. South Carolina hit lightning in the bottle for 2 games at the end of the season, they were not a quality opponent or a challenge for Georgia.
4. 2023 Tennessee - I am not sure why that came up but here are my thoughts. I said Tennessee is likely going to be down and be an 8-4 or 7-5 type team. They will go bowling but not be a playoff contender. There is an outside chance if a lot of things go in our favor that we could buck that trend and be a real threat. Almost all of the following would have to happen:
1. Joe Milton would need to start hitting his deep throws and get accurate. An accurate Joe Milton would actually be more of a threat than Hendon Hooker due to his arm strength. I have only seen him in one serious game so far (Vanderbilt) and he only hit one deep ball. It was enough havoc to cause Vanderbilt to play back and Tennessee ran the ball all over them but that was Vanderbilt. I would need to see it against a real team to believe that our offense can cause that on a regular basis (another factor could be Nico taking off and being the QB and living up to billing immediately)
2. Incoming freshmen step it up immediately on defense. This is another stretch but our defense, as pointed out, was a major problem. If somehow the new class comes in and plays great from out the gate plus some other players in the 2nd and 3rd string step it up and we at least have a decent defense and secondary combined with a great offense, we could be a threat
3. No drop-off in offensive line play - We are losing Darnell Wright and Jerome Carvin. Darnell Wright will be one of the top offensive linemen taken in the upcoming draft and could be the highest NFL pick from Tennessee.
4. Alabama and Florida continue to struggle and South Carolina doesn't take off
All those factors play in Tennessee's favor and you could see an 11-0 Tennessee team play Georgia. That is a lot of what ifs though and I am more leaning toward 2023 being a rebuilding year with an 8-4 record.

You have literally shit posted about UGA fans and other fanbases over and over. You also don't see me going around constantly railing on teams we beat or referring to teams as "jr" in troll post.
Yeah, I pretty much can. And, I said it before the game, see above, and the game proved me correct. You were sure that Bama's defense was just as good, I said it wasn't, and I'm right. The idea that you think your first half woes were self-induced is laughable. The fact you can't admit you just got whipped by a superior team is laughable. Of course, your players and coaches aren't going to come out and just say we get our asses whipped ... well, that's not really true ... Hyatt said UGA was way more physical than Bama. What UTjr wasn't ready for was a team that was simply far better, better prepared, better athletes, and way more physical than your team. However, you can't say it was 100% Georgia's defense because Georgia's defense put up stats against Tennessee that they did NOT put up during the course of the full season.
Look at my post above. We've played more top 25 teams than any other team in the CFP. Do you see the point differences? Did all those teams just have bad days, lay eggs? At some point you might want to wonder why all the good teams "lay eggs" when they played us. 1 home game, 2 away, 2 neutral (acknowledging as I did in that post that Atlanta isn't exactly neutral). They haven't been challenged with their schedule. I said the same thing about Ohio State but their fans didn't go into a frenzy.
2 games that weren't in our home stadium? 50-30, 49-3. You really think that was why we won the games? SMH.I just think Georgia hasn't been put in a spot that really challenges them yet. All their big matchups (LSU, Oregon, and Tennessee) where in situations were they had the crowd and momentum advantage.
Don't project your insecurities on me ... nothing you say bothers me. It's a sports board. People say things, and people respond. I've been doing this for decades. There is nothing you can say that "bothers" me. I disagree with what you say and when I do I'll tell you. But you don't bother me.What bothers all of you is that I TRULY believe that Georgia would not go unbeaten if they played a tougher schedule similar to Alabama and I believe there are several teams including Alabama and Ohio State that are unbeaten with Georgia's schedule.
Dude, I don't want you to do anything ... do what you want to do. For fuck sakes, I think you are a grown ass man. Do what you want to do but don't come here playing victim when people post back.I know you want me to get on here and claim you are the best team ever. I heard the say shit leading up to the game in Athens. I don't believe that. So sue me.
That's two of us ... it's hard to go undefeated, and tOSU has more talent than anyone not named UGA and Bama. When people have talked up UGA, how many times have you seen me post this gif:I wouldn't be 100% surprised if Georgia loses to Ohio State.

Oh, I agree with you. I mean we are going to play 3 games this year at MBS ... that's crazy.Lol @ calling the game “neutral site” when it’s still in the same state and your team’s been there about twenty million times or so.
When the other team had to fly in from the other side of the country and never plays there.

Screw Atlanta's traffic. That place is BRUTAL. It reminds of Chicago, where rush hour is all day every day. You've obviously never been in Atlanta traffic. That trip had to take an hour and half by bus!
I will just respond regarding the Georgia Tennessee game.
First, I'm not a Georgia fan, so personally, I couldn't care less about Georgia or Tennessee (I'm a Michigan fan). You are speaking from an extremely biased position, as a Tennessee fan.
I feel like you truly think the Georgia Tennessee game was close, because it ended as only a 2 touchdown difference in the end. Georgia COMPLETELY shut down their offense in the 2nd half and were content on running the ball the entire 2nd half, because......................Tennessee couldn't score on their defense. If Georgia wanted to in the 2nd half, they could have thrown it all over the field like they did in the 1st half. That's why I've said -- it wouldn't matter where the game was played. Georgia is simply vastly more talented than Tennessee. If you guys played 10 times -- they'd win all 10 games, even if you played them all at Tennessee THIS YEAR. I say this year -- because maybe Tennessee finds a way to get a competitive defense and become a more complete team.
And you may not want to say Georgia is the best team, but even as a die hard fan of the "2nd best team", I can easily say that. The reason why: They are the most complete team in CFB. They are the deepest team. The team with the most 5 star recruits? Most would think Bama -- it is actually Georgia who has the most on their roster.
Georgia can also defend anything you throw at them. If you want to line it up and play physical -- they have no problem with that. If you want to spread them out and go 4 wide -- they have the secondary to handle that. If you want to play with pace on offense, they can't handle that.
That's why Georgia is the best team. They are the most complete team. They have one of the best offenses and one of the best defenses. The only other team like that is Michigan, which is why I say -- Georgia is basically Michigan, but on steroids, as we don't recruit anywhere near the amount of talent as Georgia.
You have literally shit posted about UGA fans and other fanbases over and over.
Yeah, I pretty much can. And, I said it before the game, see above, and the game proved me correct. You were sure that Bama's defense was just as good, I said it wasn't, and I'm right. A lot, because most UGA fans, me included, are still in the mode of 1980-2021 ... we are used to Georgia-ing. We are obviously the favorites, but any of the 4 teams can win this. I like our chances, but I'll be nervous in all the games.
There you go again. SMH. Why do I get the feeling that if we win the NC, you will come on here and say, well UGA got to play in Atlanta, and this teams was missing this player, and this team laid an egg, but UGA really isn't that good. SMH.
Hour and a half? Shit, we drive that far in West Texas just to have lunch! You've obviously never been in Atlanta traffic. That trip had to take an hour and half by bus!
It's terrible. It's why we moved to Cary NC back in 2001. I had enough of it, just had the first of two kids. Wasn't going to be in that shit the rest of my life. I counted it up and I probably saved at least 2 years of my life bby moving from Atlanta.Hour and a half? Shit, we drive that far in West Texas just to have lunch!
Never been in Atlanta traffic. But if it is any worse than DFW, Austin, San Antonio or Houston, I ain’t gonna be in it ever! Frickin Austin may be the worst.
You didn't play a good game because of the defense you faced. The same reason Oregon didn't play a good game. Why? Because of the defense they faced.I just stated we did NOT play a good game. I know because I have watched all 12 games this season, I pointed out items that had nothing to do with defense (perhaps crowd noise) such as penalties, not snapping the ball well, overthrows, confusion lining up, poor game plan, etc. That isn't Georgia, that is reflective of Tennessee and the fact we were an overhyped team with still some major flaws that wasn't ready for bigtime environment. What benefit does it have for me to trash my own team?
Well, seeing how I was at the game, yeah, I watched it.I am beginning to wonder if you even watched the Georgia-Tennessee game.
You UTjr fans ... but if we had done this or done that, but only if, if, if if. Broken record. As I said, I was there and it was an ass whipping from the beginning to the end. If you want to hold on to some hope because you missed some passes, or it was only 2 TDs, etc., have at it. Same happened last year ... people kept saying we hadn't played anyone until there was no one left to play.Hyatt had two break away wide open runs and so did Fant and Hendon Hooker overthrew them. Hit any of these three in the route and it was a TD similar to Alabama. We weren't missing those passes against Alabama and we missed them against Georgia. That isn't good defense, that is bad offense (or just simply being off).
The running the playclock to nearly 0, the false start penalties, the players being out of position, the mental mistakes are not all on Georgia (well you can say it was on Athens and the fanbase). Tennessee wasn't ready for prime time and choked. The full body of the work over the season tells that story. You just want to troll and haven't even acknowledge any of those items.
FFS, just stop with the unchallenged bullshit. Perhaps you missed what I posted above, so I'll post it one more time:I agree with @NewPhoneWhoDis that you appear to be the most complete team but you are unchallenged. Tennessee didn't give you a great game and I don't think Oregon did as well. LSU played alright against you (better than Tennessee) so perhaps you have that. That game may have looked different without that block FG runback for TD which flipped the momentum of that game.
Quit projecting ... you are the one who has admitted he has a hard time here and has had to step away before. Why would I be insecure? My team is defending NC and is favored to win again. LOL. The one insecure is the one trying somehow to make it look like you guys just had a bad game. I am in no frenzy ... we are on a sports board talking sports. It's what we do.If you weren't in a frenzy or weren't insecure then you would have just breezed past my post and said whatever instead of writing books demanding that I acknowledge Georgia as some unbeatable machine.
