What’s wrong with Gonzaga this year?

Tennessee and Texas have blown them out and it took a big comeback to beat Michigan State. I watch and Timme is the only elite player Isee at the moment.
Bolton and Strawther are just decent and Sallis hasn’t lived up to the hype.

I’m hopeful we can beat them again and if we just have an OK game shooting against them I am confident.

Drew Time is not an "Elite Player". If he was he'd have been drafted by now and not in his 5th year at Gonzaga.

Timme is an elite offensive basketball player, it is his defense leaves a lot to be desired. They don't have the rim protection this year like they did with Chet. They don't have an elite guard like they did in 21 with Suggs and last year with Nembhard. Hickman and Sallis just aren't those guys.

The roster construction just isn't as good as it has been the last 4/5 years. They will still be good, but I think they are probably a 3/4 seed as opposed to a 1 seed.

they’re thin inside, it Timme and that’s it. They don’t have great shooters, just average slashers. They don’t have the talent to just run crazy like they usually do. They get sloppy at times and don’t take care of the ball. Still a real solid team but they are going deep in the tourney this year.

I know it was Northern Illinois, but Ben Gregg showed he could be a second scoring big this season.
 
Gonzaga whipped us. Our defense has been terrible these last 2 games since Nimari Burnett broke his wrist

Brandon Miller is a stud. We didn’t have an answer for him. That game showed what Gonzaga can be come tournament time. Drew being Drew and actual support from the rest of the guys.
 
Not a damn thing they are doing their part to beat down evil in the world.

Rule #1 in college basketball:

Don't overreact to games in November.

Gonzaga has talent, coaching and experience. They'll be a tough out in March.
