I think I’m losing interest in college football at a rapid rate

National titles >> old axes
Whatever. Feel proud.

I don't remember ever watching a Florida-Georgia game.Hell, I don't remember ever watching a complete CFP title game. Even the Sugar Bowl is a nothingburger to me. But, I have watched 40-45 Rose Bowls.

And it’s no surprise that the best Rose Bowl ever involved no B1G or Pac teams.

I'm pro letting players make money off their likelihood but I also hate this new reality where Missouri can't get a five star recruit without everyone wondering how long it'll be until he transfers. Is this going to be a thing every year where there's going to be rampant speculation about if schools will be able to keep their best players year-over-year? Because that's not fun and will end up having a negative effect long-term. It's bad enough already with head coaches.

To me it's the dominance of 4 or 5 schools.

Not saying the 12 team is a magic bullet but at least it will keep more fan bases involved in the playoffs and generate more interest in games that don't involve the top 5

SEC burnout.

@Wood20ks could start posting male on male content on the NSFW board and this post would still be the gayest thing to ever be posted on this site
I'll pay Chewy to fuck you in the ass and there is nothing you can do about it.

The problem with college football is the fans are the ones who keep getting shafted.

Traditional, long-time rivalries have been getting killed off because of greed.
Way too many head coach's contracts aren't worth the paper it's written on.
Even though Alabama got left out name recognition still carries way too much weight.
Now we don't even know who will be on the team's roster year-to-year. I'll go watch Arena Football if I want to see a different roster every year.
Hell, we'll also probably end up getting fucked with just trying to get games on our TVs.

I still watch and still enjoy the games but when we're the ones who constantly get left out it shouldn't be a surprise if this sentiment becomes more and more prevalent.

Hell I also sometimes wonder about the net positive the transfer portal provides the players in it's current state. How many of these guys get stuck in limbo there or find it didn't go the way they wanted so they pick somewhere to go sit on the bench just to do it all over again. Doesn't help that power players who can influence that stuff don't have their best interests in mind.

Someone posted a link on another thread saying a significant percentage of players in the portal don’t land anywhere
