I mean who's class who we directly compete with every year is even close to ours? Bama and UGA usually finish above us recently. Typical.

Penn State and Michigan were still quite a bit behind.

The rest of the Big 10 lol.

Yet you got idiots out here acting like 4 loss seasons are on the horizon because of "this terrible class"

It was widely known he was going elsewhere in ND circles and if they kept him it would have been a coup, but it’s kind of a dick move to do the stupid hat dance while you have a verbal commitment to a school. Nut up and decommit if you want to put on that silly display. Hanging on to a commitment just to extract a bigger payday is one thing (sucks but that’s the way the game is played) but playing a school along is ridiculous.
He already has transfer portal written all over him.

1. Lose to Michigan State
2. Lose to Penn State
3. Lose to Michigan
4. Lose as an undeserved #12 seed in the expanded CFP.

4 loss regular season. "8-4" "or worse" is coming in 2025 according to idiots because of "how bad" (lol) this class is.

They are pointing out that they might be able to get Day fired after 25 because of that. Lol.

Reading on some ND boards he allegedly told Freeman he was still in last night and some are saying he was telling people he was “undecided” moments before the ceremony.

Going to the highest bidder I see.

It was, they also didn't have a lot of room. Only took 17 kids, but this year is only 19.

That's not terrible then given the # of kids. I'm guessing the avg recruit rank was probably top 5 if I had to guess.

They are #5 with 20 players, everyone else in the top 10 besides Texas (21) and Oklahoma (24) has at least 25

We have 19 signed because one player is still wavering, I guess, but it seems like he will sign.

It was, but it was only a 91.87, while this years' is 93.57. If this is a bad class, I'm cool with that.

The only thing we really lacked was depth at CB. But we still got 2 pretty high level CBs. and LB, which we only ended up with 1.

They are throwing transfer portal offers out to DBs like crazy so hopefully we land a few.

I think these lower 4* more "project" type players are going to be harder to hold onto now. Take Lee for example. Auburn gave him a little money, yea, but he is also pretty much in line for a assured ton of playing time as a freshman. Why go sit 2 years at Ohio State when you can get a little cash and play right away at a Auburn type school?

It's only "bad" compared to Bama. But honestly, in this day and age, I'd rather stay around 20-22 kids and land another 3-5 in the portal to fill immediate gaps. 19 of the 20 commits are 4/5 stars. Lol that's insanely good.

bro, they need more.. they are getting whipped by a 3 star avg UM team

Michigan benefited a ton from the whacky COVID shit allowing guys to stay extra years. I'm not sure how sustainable their current model is long term, but they will be a pain in the ass at least until all these guys who've already been around forever trickle out.

I'm not understanding where this lack of LB depth is coming from. Next year we'll have:
Chambers
Cody Simon - 4*, top 100 player
Mitchell Melton - 4*, #350
Reid Carrico - 4*, top 100
CJ Hicks - 5*
Gabe Powers - 4*, #101
Arvell Reese - 4*, #198
And Tommy might still come back

I mean only 1 LB in the class, and it wasn't a elite one, Reese is a nice prospect but not elite from recruiting standards. We need a couple of high level ones in 2024.
