Lol my buddy, a MARSOC bro, 8 combat deployments, straight up told his kid he didn’t have what it takes, to Air Force, and he did. He was into cyber and all that, which of course if lucrative once ya get out.
 
My brother signed up after 911...day of signing the af was giving 10k to anyone who signed. No such bonus for him going usmc.

We're a 4-generations Marines family so no AF for us. We have one family member (my brother in law) who was Navy but we give him absolution because he served two tours on a swift boat behind some twin 50's and those guys saved a lot of Marines' lives in some tough situations.
 
Texas lost to Air Force in the Bluebonnet Bowl way back when.

Air Force didn't attempt a pass the entire game.

We’re getting it figured out though. Won five of the last six and held them in the teens in three of the last four.
