CFB's most valuable programs

Assuming it’s accurate, Wisky at #15 is pretty surprising.

Ohio State is way too high

How much of this is based on sales of apparel?

Wonder how they calculated these numbers.
Not what I would expect.
I wonder where the hell they got these numbers. LSU isn't on the list. I find it hard to believe that during the 2019-2020 season that LSU's football revenue was less than $43.4 million dollars. But it's on the internet, so it must be true. The state of Louisiana must be even more broke than I thought.

From what I can tell, this is a very misleading headline. The article shows the top 25 teams leading in revenue for the 2019-2020 season, not the top 25 most valuable programs.

Correct. And it is certainly outdated data.

You have to look at 'fiscal year' for calculation. A fiscal year runs from Aug 1st - July 31st.

Therefore any revenue bump beyond Aug 2020 from LSU's 2019 Natty wouldn't be realized in this report.

So you’re saying UMs value should have been more?

I didn't see what Michigan's was.

Honestly that list is probably bogus.

The other one someone posted is more in line with what I've seen.

Even though Michigan is ahead of osu on that one.

Michigan seems to be ahead of OSU in a lot of ways lately…..

Because they only played 6 games in 2020
Michigan is 5th. OSU is 22nd, right behind USC, but not the blue blood USC, but University of South Carolina.

It has Texas as 2nd in revenue. Texas was selling tickets for $3 to Bijan Robinson's last home this year. I'm guessing they aren't even top 2 in their own state, let alone top 2 in the nation.

Entertaining list they put out though.
