GAME ALAMO BOWL: #20 TEXAS vs #12 WASHINGTON • ESPN • 8CT

The point is hiring him was a bad move considering the business.
From the outside I can see why people say this.. however he and CDC (AD) have brought together all of the people behind the scenes together.. They have raised money from donors to upgrade facilities and to also build a proper practice field (the bubble was supposed to be temporary).. Everyone is behind Sark, something they couldn't do with Tom.

So if he falls short and it's time to move into another direction, hopefully they let CDC do the hire with everyone on board. (Rumor is that Eltife fell in love interviewing Sark at Bama, reason why they canceled the 2nd interview with BK)

our entire existence? lol we just clown on y'all, that's it..

Last night was on Sark, the team wasn't ready for whatever reasons.. I get it's only an Alamo Bowl, but they should have played much better.. Jaylon Ford was a hot mess at LB last night. He's the one contemplating on declaring for the NFL.. If he's going to play like that with DO no longer being here.. he might as well leave.

Flood has to get the IOL better.. I get Hutson and Connor are true frosh/RS frosh with an undersized C in Majors.. but they better get stronger and better at fundamentals because we no longer have Bijan who would work his magic dodging their defender in the backfield on the way for positive yardage. DJ Campbell was the bonafide star next to Banks last class.. he's getting owned when he gets PT at RG, he needs a big jump this offseason and summer heading into next season.

Bright spot was the CB positions.. Brooks looks like he's ready for a jump.. he and the new transfer Holmes should push Watts on the other side this offseason.

DL was a mess too.. Coburn and Ojomo looked tentative at the POA.. they usually are stout.. I'm not sure if udubs OL made them that way or if they were conscious about making sure they didn't get injured.. either way they were disappointments in their final game compared to how well they played this past season..especially the finish of the regular season

I didn't think Quinn played bad, I think he played well enough to win. The only real gripe I had was time mismanagement towards the end of the 4th quarter.. After his scramble for the 1st down, the offense halted.. not because of Udub defense who they began to shred.. but the timing of him getting the call in and the offense lined up.. Udub had late subs on 2/3 of the next downs and Quinn waited for them to get on/ get off the field instead of being aggressive and getting a penalty. He should bounceback in his second season as the starter next fall

I think the fanbase is done with Xavier Worthy, he solidified his sophomore slump last night.. Quinn missed him early in the game for a TD, but Quinn delivered some dimes to him that he just dropped. I still want him to return because, even with a slump in season 2, he still led the Big12 in TD catches. Hopefully Jwhitt returns.. They need a healthy Neyor to return, and for Cook to live up to his borderline 5 star status. BTW.. Brennan Thompson is a pussy.. he's a burner but he's small and looked pathetic getting stonewalled off the LOS.. The twitter trolls stanning for he and his momma need to look at him getting owned.. whats the use of being a burner when you can't even get off the LOS?

Sark year 3 has no more excuses.. this team is full of his guys.. time to shit or get off the pot. Anything under 10 wins is a failure..

@Red_Alert lol nobody underachieves like us.. and I still rather be underachieving than whatever the hell Nebraska has become, hopeless
You mention the time of getting the call in. I’ve seen this over and over again. Not just fighting the play clock but the whole “we’ve got to sub this package in” and then break tour own momentum because the refs then have to allow the defense to sub in. Or make WR switch sides of the field. Why they can’t run a play with their current guys in is beyond me. They get in I think they get to tied to scripts/tendencies or whatever else keeping them from adjusting to the game.

The basketball equivalent is calling a time out when your team is on a run and has the other team unable to stop you.

Let’s just stop ourselves. smh

Well this is a good sign

2 out of those 3 downs.. udub made a late sub which UT could have snapped the ball for a penalty and did not... It got so whacky after that scramble for a 1st down

lol all i said was that we clown y'all lol.. People clown us because we do less with more.. people clown y'all for being weirdos.. how can i be mad at that?
wall of text don't lie, bro.

There was one I was thinking of where Ewers was watching the guy run off the field. Problem was Ewers was moving up under center during it, so he was smart enough to know he would be flagged for illegal motion if he snapped it.

Maybe outside Texas, but I watched first hand as he took UW from their worst season in program history, by far, to instantly mediocre, where they would stay for the duration of his 5 year tenure. 7, 8, maybe the occasional 9 win season, it's what he does. He'll get some signature wins, he'll get a fanbase and admin to buy in, and 5 years later everyone will stop and say "wait... we've been just okay this whole time..."

Why did our OLine look like 2013 on that last drive?

yeah, they def looked bad.. but on that long ball incompletion on 1st down, they held up well..after that..yikes

Washington drooling over themselves for winning the Alamo Bowl is pure mid
they played the better game, they deservingly got the win.. but I wasn't impressed by them at all.. the QB was over throwing everything deep it felt.. PK kept giving him everything underneath.. it was frustrating to watch.

I don't understand the heisman talk their fans have been chanting heading into next season. But it was just one game.. he probably was rusty?

Says the clown telling everyone they are natty bound after they barely beat an unranked team in their bowl game.

Only thing we actually said is going from 4-8 last year to 11-2 under a new coach was a pretty good season.

Nah, it was a great season, room for improvement, obviously, but 4-8 to 11-2 with a new coach, which includes sweeping the Northwest rivals, a solid bowl win in one of the better non NY6 Bowl games against ranked Texas, and a likely top 10 finish is pretty fuckin great. On top of that we have pretty much every major player who can come back coming back.

We don't need to downplay any of that, OD's jealous that their 10-3 no-improvement season with their new coach included an absolute pantsing on a national stage, losing to both their rivals, and barely squeaking out a win against an unranked basketball school in a baseball stadium bowl game.
