Best thread was someone posted that the TV timeout is giving our defense more of a rest than our offense.
 
Nothing on that series for the Vols. Looks like Clemson made good defensive halftime adjustments.

I see Clemson catching up and then pulling away from here on.

... and yeah, the UT QB had lots of running room, and chose poorly.

The thing is, Tennessee has a good defensive line and a good linebacker core. The secondary is what is bad. If you cannot take advantage of our secondary, the defense can look good against you.
 
Here we go with refs, they have been pretty good since 1st quarter. I guess it is unsportsmanlike on Clemson based on the discussion. This is looking petty.

I mean I don't think the refs have hurt Tennessee's game, they have just been annoying at times with unnecessary calls slowing down the game against both teams.

I don’t even understand what happened. Is the penalty for an illegal bat a rekick? Because that’s the only reason to decline it. And if that’s true, that’s a stupid penalty because you’d be most likely to bat a shitty kick.
