I was driving with extended family and when Buchner threw his second INT after SC went up 31-24 I turned the game off lest I let some bad words fly in front of his kids. By the time we got to where we were going they had tied it up.

Yeah. It definitely was up and down but hopefully it gives some positive momentum. They should leave Rees at JAX Int’l Airport though.

This is what I have heard from a lot of people. His dad has been in the NFL for a long time with the Bears management. He has lots of NFL connections. Matt LaFleur was his QB coach for a hot minute at ND.

I think he has had occasional good moments but he hasn’t exactly set the world on fire with QB recruiting or development. Probably the biggest reason ND can’t quite get into the elite level of CFB right now.
