There are many different receiver positions. Split end (SE) (now wide receiver), slotback (SB), tight end (TE), wingback (WB), and flanker (FL)

They are not ALL WR's.

I simply used the abbreviation (rcvr) for the general term "receiver".

That was NOT a great pass by any means. A great pass would have hit that receiver in stride, NOT made him slow to a near stop.
That's a jump ball if the defender is there.
