GAME FIESTA SEMI: #3 TCU vs #2 Michigan • espn • 2MT

Damn phone isn't doing what I want it to do
Yea Hammer broke replying from phone mine tires to add 500 empty lines, and until further notice the meds I'm on could make replies... far fetched. :beer2:

UM/Harbaugh likely would’ve sharted all over themselves in the NCG anyway.

Harbaugh really needs to work on his playcalling. UM’s D needs to be more consistent. JJ Mac needs to learn to not go for the deep shot and take the underneath throws.

Congrats to any TCU fans, your offense is no joke! Your defense did a great job shutting down Edwards after the first play and made plays on pass defense when you needed to. Sad to see our season end, but very proud of this squad and the effort to claw back. Hope you guys win. What a wild game.

Go Blue!
^classy dude, that navamind feller

Who supports it. I've seen you say this multiple times. I think the only thing people have said is that it is possible to tackle without leading with your head.

No one likes the targeting rule
There’s literally a thread full of ppl. Are you touched?

Wait...I thought his name was....

nevermind.

On his game planning. All year we sucked in the first half before going crazy in the second half. We did it again against TCU but the main problem is that we dug a hole that didn’t exist in the first 13 games. We needed to play like the second half in the first half…in all games

Even if targeting was called, Michigan's offense was struggling and there was only 30 seconds on clock. No guarantee that they would have scored.
Yep -- definitely. It was just a fitting end after the overturned TD turned into a fumble and no points. Then the 2nd overturned TD. And the pick six. And the other pick six. UM shot themselves in the foot too much to win this game, but the refs definitely didn't help much either.

In the end -- TCU played a great game and they deserve the win.

as good as Edwards is, Michigan should have changed their running scheme to compliment him. he just doesn't have the physical build of Corum or Haskins. He shouldn't be running up the middle on a regular basis.

Find me someone that supports targeting as a rule in its current form. I'll make fun of them with you

Worst one was the roughing the passer call.
I don't even know what PI he is talking about, but the roughing call was weak. I understand the "protect the QB" mantra, but they take it too far sometimes. Football is a violent game -- people are going to get hit.

He is all or nothing between the tackles. He is a great RB, but he isn't a guy you are going to give the ball 25+ times running between the tackles. He tip toes if he doesn't see a hole. It is why I said before the game -- Mullins is who I thought we would lean on. He runs hard and isn't dancing to find an opening. Him fumbling on his first touch ended that thought.

he could always bulk up ala Corum, but he'd be sacrificing some of that killer speed. I'd prefer to use him in a RB duo and get him more involved in the passing game. it's too bad he had the hand injury or we probably see him get way more targets

Ambiguous low bar you set for your argument. What a chump.

The true and only valid side is to get rid of it completely because all tackles lead with the head because that’s how moving forward with the human body works.

And there’s tons of ppl supporting individual targeting calls under this rule. It’s all over the thread
