NFL WEEKLY GAME THREAD Week 17

I wonder if this is a heart issue because he didn't hit his head until he collapsed
He took a face shot, then that fall was brutal.

Not sure about that. NFL isn't going to let him die on the field, even if they have to do CPR and call it at the hospital.
yeah you're right, I corrected myself in a post to another poster. I'm just sick over this man, hoping and praying he's going to be okay. But yeah doesn't mean they got a pulse back, I read in another comment they were doing CPR as he left the field

Scary shit. Hopefully he is ok

This might be like that soccer player last year or two years ago that had a cardiac epsiode. He came back after getting medical assistance immediately. I hope the same outcome here.

We all know where this is headed. We've seen hundreds of ambulances stretcher people out and went right back to playing minutes later. The only reason this game is delayed is because Hamlin didn't make it.

I don’t think that’s necessarily true. It’s on national tv in front of a packed stadium. They aren’t going to toss the guy in a body bag on the field. The way the players were reacting I think he may be dead
Yeah had to clarify in another post. Not necessarily dead. Lots of things could've caused it anything from C1 injury to heart contusion, just so many things. Just hoping the young man will be okay

The guy I’m playing in fantasy football Final has Josh Allen. sucks if I win this way.

I’ve heard could have been a cardiac contusion which you can survive but if he’s not breathing on his own I wonder if it’s a neck injury

I was thinking neck injury when I saw it but it's impossible to know with the evidence at hand. I've heard of people getting into car accidents, standing up, then collapsing with a C2 fracture. C2 fractures are called a "hangman's" fracture fwiw.

I am hoping that the tweet that the ambulance waited for his mom is a good sign. Hoping that if he were really without a pulse they would race to the hospital and mom could ride with a cop.

All the media people cutting away because of tears tells me they know more than they are saying until it is official.

If they stopped then it was in the ambulance, not on the field.
Doubt they stopped, I mean I'm not an ENT. Just a nurse. So no experience out in the field but we never stopped CPR until an MD called it or we got a pulse back

Could be a bad sign too as In he already passed away so there was no rush.

Also ESPN for the love of god do not make your hosts slave through this on air go show something out of your Tom Brady spank bank or something but this isn't fair to them
Yeah this trying to fill time is tough.

Why the fuck are the showing the ambulance again?

ESPN doesn’t give a shit about their on air people. They keep elder abusing Lee Corso by putting him out there every week

That's how I feel. Mom could've found a way to the hospital easily, especially when her son's life is in question.
