I actually became kind of friends with DD near the end there. He was really supportive of my kid’s football ventures, and it gave us a lot to talk about off the board. I hope he is doing well wherever he is.
 
He seemed like a genuinely good dude. I liked reading his posts.

Hopefully he’s doing well.

It’s a shame that some people just have to be assholes online and ruin things for other people. :burt:

We had lunch today, and since he isn't here to refute it, I paid.

He is doing pretty well considering his entire life ended when he decided to leave the site to protect people close to him. He was worried that the retards were going to go after people in his life, friend, family or colleagues. Considering that they went to the lengths they did, to find him, because a guy was basically just friends, and laughed at people, with handi. Who knows what they would do.

Just giving you the heads up. I told him to just create an alt, and that way he could send a few pms to people and maybe read his obituary posting page.

That’s too bad. We let the LCD run off decent guys like Doug. Hope he takes you up on the alt idea.
