The NCAA found that he failed to cooperate with investigators related to a Level II violation regarding contact with two prospects during the COVID-19 dead period.
  • The violations include impermissible contact made during the COVID-19 dead period as well as a self-reported violation for improper use of an analyst for on-field instruction. These violations are considered minor infractions.

Michigan doesn't want Ryan Day going anywhere. We love Ryan Day. OSU should sign him to a contract extension.
 
If a coach doesn’t relish swimming in the recruiting/NIL/transfer portal cesspool in order to gain a talent advantage, then the NFL is their place.

Exactly. You have to be willing to play the game and skirt the rules if you want to be a college coach, especially with the deck stacked against you at the vast majority of head coaching jobs.

At least if you go to the NFL, you have a semblance of a level playing field and you simply have to coach the team, instead of playing all the other side games.

The trade off is you have to deal with 53 Fortune 500 companies on a daily basis. But that's getting to be the case with a few college players as well.

Well -- the Head Coaches don't -- the front office is the one who will have to deal with the sponsors. The Head Coach just has to deal with the players, which could be just as big of a headache, as they are all pretty much millionaires.

If the money they are talking from the Broncos is real -- I'd leave immediately if i were him. That is stupid money for a coach. If the Walmart kids want to pay it -- He should run to Denver.

Let's be honest here. Not even the most die hard Michigan fan would have guessed we would get to two straight CFP's. Michigan pulls in quality classes, but nowhere near the type of classes the top teams do.

So I have no issue with losing in those games. This year's game hurt, as we beat ourselves, which we hadn't done all year. When you give up 2 pick sixes and turn the ball over twice at the 1 yard line, yet still have a chance to win -- I'm fine with that. Last year -- Georgia was simply vastly more talented and it wasn't really close.
