GAME 2022 FBS NCG: #3 TCU vs #1 Georgia • 7:30ET • ESPN

Matchups mean something in college football. Michigan does not match up well against Georgia. They would have gotten smoked

Transitive property doesn't work very well for you considering the team you just lost to suffered a beat down like no other
They know this. They basically feel like the Purdue/Iowa fans in 2017/2018, seeing their team beat up on the Big Ten's flagship program. Even though they know they're not truly elite and this isn't gonna last, you just have to let them enjoy this euphoria.

Georgia looked dominant. Congrats. As for the future buyer beware, green bay took 2 of them in last year's draft and well, Walker had a cultural issue as he's been ejected twice this year for shoving staff of opposing teams and Wyatt is a total bust.
You're a bit early to call Wyatt a total bust. It's pretty rare to have a defensive lineman come in and dominate the NFL in his rookie year. Year #3 in the NFL is the appropriate time to start calling bust.

It's more of a "the entire Georgia team had a bad case of diarrhea when they played Ohio State and still won" thing but you do you, buddy

I will. Thanks for allowing me my freedom

How is Wyatt a total bust? He was a rookie and GB already had established quality starter in Kenny Clark. That is the norm with top picks at GB to play sparingly their first year unless they have no one else. They did the same thing with Rashan Gary, the same thing with AJ Dillon, the same thing still with Jordan Love.

GB has multiple guys hitting FA on the DL this year -- so next year will be the year Wyatt will get a chance to show what he can do. In limited snaps though -- on mostly pass rush attempts -- he ranked 9th in the NFL in win rate. So I would write him off.

I agree with the issues with Walker -- guy is a basket case, but he can play. Had 121 tackles, 2 sacks, 3 forced fumbled and 9 passes defensed. So the guy is a player, but he is also the only player in NFL history to be kicked out of two games in a season for pushing people during a game not in uniform :pound:

If you would have told me that LSU playing a Purdue team that was basically pulling students onto the field to play would be closer than the NCG, I would have been skeptical.

BS.
SEC can't make you cancel anything. They asked and UGA capitulated.
That’s actually not true, but you do you.

We’ve been one of the better schedulers for years. Same in the future if you look.

The conference can tell a school to cancel a game especially with expansion. I’ll explain later … not ruining my vibe right now.

I’m pretty sure the home and home between Florida and Texas is cancelled too for the same reasons.

yeah i'm sure those are off the table.. we still have UM and tosu lined up

Was this the most underwhelming natty in recent memory?

Scoreline of the Bama-Ohio State game looked almost as ugly, but at least that game was competitive for most of the first half.

This one was more like the Bama - Notre Dame championship where Bama raced out to a 35-0 lead and it was a laugher basically the entire game.

Just got home. Was an epic trip, and I’m glad we sat in the upper level where the leaky roof wasn’t setting us.

They definitely didn’t factor in rain for the design of that stadium. The walkways were all polished concrete and slick as shit. Saw a handful of people bust their ass.

But glad the good guys won easily, but I really wanted a 70 spot. That was a message that needed to be sent to all would be Cinderellas.

I will say that "yall took care of business". That would be a massive understatement. Has any team ever been held to under 200 yards in a CFP semifinal or championship game before this one?
