So Michigan brought in THE QB whisperer to be head coach but doesn’t want to pass the ball very much?

Sam Webb this morning indicated thatHearing some rumblings that the GA OC is in play to replace Harbs if he goes to the NFL.
So if Michigan looks like they are going to get hit with a sanction he is going to Chip Kelly it to the NFL?Sam Webb this morning indicated that
1. Harbaugh wants to stay in Ann Arbor
2. The "harbaugh to the NFL if offered" is MOSTLY just his first time agent using that to get him a bigger contract at Michigan
3. The contract negotiations are contested about how much he's getting paid (rumor is Harbaugh wants $10+ million) but in return Warde wants a huge buyout to prevent future NFL talk. Seemed to also indicate something could be done by the end of this week
4. Harbaugh has purposefully left the NFL door open in case the negotiations fall through or the NCAA proves more problematic than expected. Which is why his wording has always been along the lines of "I hope to be coaching Michigan in 2023"
Very much sounds like he's at least leaving the door open briefly for that possibility. Though this process seems like it will be done far before we know about any kind of repercussions from that.So if Michigan looks like they are going to get hit with a sanction he is going to Chip Kelly it to the NFL?

Mark Stoops to Ann Arbor?I also heard the current KY HC would be in the running. For what it’s worth.

Sam Webb is one of the most connected people to the Athletic program. So you absolutely take what he says when it comes to what's going on in the athletic program....the only person with more connections is probably John U Bacon.Sam Webb is also the ultimate Michigan sunshine pumper. I take anything that he says with a grain of salt.
Here is the thing about Mark Stoops, he is now the winningest coach in KY history and is very popular to the degree that Calipari made some comments about money being spent of football that should go to basketball and the AD took Stoop's side (at no point in history has a KY AD taken a football over basketball position in anything). If that’s the KY HC. I don’t feel like using search engines today.

He is having the type of career at KY that they name the field after him and he can have the job for life and now makes 9mm a year.
Stoops is a super smart guy so he ain't going anywhere.
Damn you're really connected broh.I’m just relaying info I got from people loosely associated w the program who may or may not have a minor to moderate inside track to info. I really don’t know as it’s a friend of a friend situation.
So take it strictly as a rumor with nothing to really back it up.
However, if they do hire him I want to be fully recognized.![]()

I think Harbaugh wants to be the highest paid coach in the B10 - but reports are that he also wants his assistants to be the highest paid in the B10 (and I think that's part of the holdup on negotiations). And in order to be hte highest paid coach in the B10, he has to be paid higher than Mel Tucker. And honestly, I think after the last two years that's pretty reasonable. I'm not sure why a multi-billion dollar institution, who's athletic department deals in 1/4 billion dollar revenues (partially thanks to the guy in question, is quibbling about a few million bucks a year.Lol Harbaugh finally beats Ohio State a couple times after losing the first 5 (and running away from another) and loses two playoff games and wants 10+ mil a year? Ok

Als -- This weird exchange happened last night,
Yup. Santa. That Mel Tucker contract was so fucking stupid. TBH, Harbaugh should be the highest paid coach in the Big Ten right now, with Day closely behind, then maybe Franklin and everyone else.
Yeah that message from your president was weird. Also, your president's name is Santa???
And so ends this years Harbaugh to the NFL drama.
