It's being reported that Jaden Rashada ...

I figure the talking testicle in Tuscaloosa will be blaming this on Jimbo and A&M any minute now.

he's too busy worried about a potent Petrino led offense awaiting him in CS this fall

not going to blame the kid or his family.. the collective OFFERED the kid 13 mil, they agreed and signed it... only to now realize there's no way they can pay it.

This reminds me of the NBA, where teams would over spend on good players as if they were great or franchise caliber. So much so they began to make rules in order to protect themselves, despite blaming the players.

One such rule was the one year after high school eligibility to even submit your name into the NBA draft. Point is, this is human nature.. boosters, collectives, even coaches get sucked in and make dumb decisions (like offering 13 mil to a kid to flip to them).. I wouldn't go blaming recruits
He's a 4* that still has a 7-figure payday on the table. He sits there and praises Napier and says how he's meant to play for them, but then the money isn't as much as he thought and now everything changes. Just be honest - the system you're meant to play for in your mind is the one that's going to pay you the most upfront.

We have Graham Mertz, the 2023 Heisman winner. We good
Oh boy - you haven't seen Merton play. He will look good against FCS and bottom feeder programs, but once a team has any pass rush -- he is BRUTAL.

Floridas entire Oline’s transferred or went pro. We will have terrible protection lol

Naiper has magic qb powers....hell he has made anthony richardson a first round pick didn't he?

Anthony Richardson will be a 1st round pick, but it won't be because of anything Napier did. The guy simply has the physical talent you can't teach. It'd be like saying Stoops is responsible for Will Levis getting drafted in the 1st round.

Both guys are absolute garbage, but they have NFL arms, NFL bodies and they can run. I pray the Lions don't waste a draft pick on either.

Florida fans are going to want to search out Mertz and murder him after you see some of the throws he will make against any team with a defense.

Keep in mind we had to bring him in because our starter is into child porn. Things are back on track

I'd rather have the child porn QB. He'd be more well liked than Mertz will be by the end of the year.

lol if some out of the blue company offered you 13 mil guaranteed, I'm pretty everyone would tell their current employer.. I feel this next move is the best fit for me and my future goals.

if they pulled that offer at the last second.. you would say.. actually thinking more about it.. that really wasn't the best spot for me.. have to follow my heart over money.. lol

Will Levi’s is projected as the 3rd QB to go in the draft. It’s a weak QB draft.

It is brutal. Levis and Richardson both are only projected to go high in the draft because they have NFL bodies and NFL arms. They don't have it between the ears for the NFL and they don't have the accuracy needed in the NFL, but everyone thinks they are going to find the next Josh Allen and think they can fix a guy.

I pray the Lions goes nowhere near either of them.

For every josh Allen there are at least 3 Zach wilsons and Josh rosens....

For every Josh Allen there are at least 30 (and realistically, it is much more than 30) Zach Wilson's and Josh Rosen's. The QB position is a grave yard for top college QB's. The game is so different from college to the NFL -- you never know what you will get.

JaMarcus Russell, Brady Quinn, Johnny Manziel, Jake Locker, Paxton Lynch, Dwayne Haskins(RIP), Tim Tebow, EJ Manuel, Matt Leinart, Christian Ponder, JP Losman, Patrick Ramsey, Blaine Gabbert, Kyle Boller, David Carr, Joey Harrington, Josh Freeman, Jason Campbell, Mitch Trubisky, Byron Leftwich, Rex Grossman, Vince Young, Marcus Mariota, Teddy Bridgewater, Mark Sanchez, Baker Mayfield, Chad Pennington, Carson Wentz.

These are just the 1st round QB's who were mediocre to flat out terrible in the NFL in the last 20 years.

I don’t think Jason Campbell belongs on that list. He was pretty good IIRC. And I don’t think Peyton Manning or Tom Brady would have been successful in David Carr’s position, and Bridgewater was decent before a gruesome injury

But yeah, any GM that takes Levis or Richardson in the first round should be fired on the spot

He’s not an NFL QB either, but I’d rather have Stetson Bennett over either of them

Campbell is underappreciated. The year he retired I was at a tailgate in Auburn where he showed up and had to step away to take a call from the Cowboys wanting him to get back in but he told us once he left he mentally left and didn't want the grind anymore. He could have played and cashed checks for at least 3 more years with no problem.

He is an example of a guy that did it right, managed his money well and will live a productive life.

Campbell wasn't pretty good. Completed 60% of his passes, 80 tds, 60 ints, finished 18 games under .500 as a starter.

He is pretty good for the list of QB's i put up, but he was mediocre, at best, as a QB in the NFL.
