Former Husker beaver QB Tristan Gebbia ends up at tOSU??

I don't think people were complaining so much as they were just making fun of it, like he's a doctor or something.
I don't take many or any fans seriously, and many were making some really funny memes. But, there were the fans like we all have that were dead serious.

Couldn't agree more ... and yet some of your fans have been bitching about it non-stop ... "not fair for a 25 year old to play against 19 and 20 year olds." Media, too.

Example: Chris Russo rips Georgia for winning CFP title with old QB

That's so stupid lol. Those 19 and 20 year old kids are top end athletes. Being 25 in college football gives you absolutely zero competitive advantage. Hell being 25 and playing college football should mean you at a disadvantage because perceivably anyone good enough woulda been long gone to the NFL instead of hanging around college forever.

It's not like it's a 18 year old competing against a bunch of 13/14 year olds. THAT would be a severe competitive advantage.

I'd say there is a mental advantage at 25 for sure compared to 18-19-20 but the dude has eligibility left so he played. No gripes from me in that regard

Mental maybe. But physical and skill wise? No way. Lol. Anyone who has enough skill/athleticism is long gone to the NFL before they are even close to 25.

Also, I'd bet most teams have their fair share of 22 and 23 year old guys what with the Covid year and the fact that so many top players redshirt early in life - middle school, etc.
