What’s the point of non alcoholic beer?

I keep seeing these commercials for no alcohol Heineken. How is there a market for this?

This is why I just don’t see eye to eye with beer drinkers. You’d never see a non alcoholic liquor being advertised

I actually know two people who consume it regularly -- I have an uncle who's allergic to alcohol, so he drinks the non alcoholic stuff all the time (the trace amounts don't cause issues). I also had someone who I used to work with who couldn't drink alcohol anymore (doctor's orders) but they liked beer so much they kept drinking the non-alcoholic stuff. I think I would probably do the same if someone told me I couldn't have it anymore. I keep meaning to try it to see if it's any good.

This is why I just don’t go to the doctor.

If they start advertising alcohol free Everclear, I might just end it all

Yeah, when I was a kid, I would always get a virgin margarita, which I assume is just the mix. But any adult drinking that needs to be taken out back and done the way of Old Yeller.

I’ve never seen those advertised, and what’s the point of em? You know they don’t have the burn that makes straight liquor so good

not everyone wants to drink alcohol, bud. They still like the flavor and taste of the drinks, so you get the spirit and mix it with the mixer...and boom, you get the drink you want.

if you want a gin and tonic because you like the taste but don't want to drink, you get the non-alcoholic version and tonic.

this isn't difficult to grasp.

I've been getting the liquid Death lime waters with my lunch, and I like them because they kind of have that bitter kick of a mixed drink with basically nothing in them. Tastes kind of like a gin and tonic to me.

If you’re drinking a bunch of mixed drinks, you’re really not much of a drinker anyways.

I've had them...they aren't bad

and I guess the cans make it look like you are partaking.
