Most underappreciated players

Oso Ighodaro - Marquette - He gets recognition in the Big East, but nationally he's probably one of the more underrated players.

This statement was egregiously proven yesterday. Andy Katz did his 5 tiers of best big men in college basketball. 5 in each tiers. So yeah, top 25. Oso was not listed even in tier 5. Steven fucking Crowl with Wisconsin made Tier 4.

Like thats bad. Not even an ounce of homerism. Katz job is literally to know shit like this and thats a brutal obmission.

That article highlights all of Oso metrics. Hes closer to top 25 regardless of position.

It's honestly impossible for even somebody who does it full time to watch all of the players and not only watch them but understand what they mean to their team.

For example ... Sanogo puts up good numbers, but he has defensive lapses and blows wide open shots at big moments. Some UConn fans don't really want him back.

Katz wouldn't know that. He can only go by numbers for a lot of these guys. And he's never really fully respected the new Big East anyway.
