Damn. Didn't realize this was Holtmann's 6th year already. Also didn't realize he hasn't made it past the S16. He very well could end up on the hot seat going into next season. Buckeyes got rid of Matta who accomplished a ton more during his time(but probably the correct decision given the direction of the program)

Yep. I was never on the Fire Hotlmann train before this season, but this tank job is just unacceptable, paired with him not making it very far in the tournament ever. Time for a change.

Honestly, if that happened that wouldnt even be pulling an Iowa.

Right now its "pulling a big10" lol.

This league seems destined to have Purdue, 12 inconsistent contenders of some sort, and the sad sack Gophers.

If we were losing to great teams i'd agree.

But we've lost to Minnesota and Nebraska and looked awful in both games.

Also got stomped by a meh Maryland team.

Those metrics are still holding on to the stronger November and December we had. January has been a fucking abortion though. I really don't see them pulling out of this dive. There's just no direction. There's no team work. Every offensive possession turns into 1 on 1. Which REALLY does not work since we don't have any particularly great self creating scorers. It's constantly 5 guys just running around doing whatever they feel like doing. UGLY basketball. Holtman has completely lost any control he may have had over the team.
