TV Series The Last of Us

Nick Offerman might get nominated for an award for his role in Episode 3. Well done.

I am going to fly in from on high and try this show with absolutely no knowledge of it in any way shape or form. Aside from seeing it at Netflix.

I see big reviews here.

I'll do it right now, unless my wife decides to venture down to watch Pennyworth.

Time will tell.

every prepper's dream... having all the guns, ammo, food, and supplies to last a lifetime... then the love of your life (a dude) falls into a hole you dug and now you've got them...

They could get matching shirts...but with a hole.

And as I predicted, the missus came down 45 minutes into episode #1.

So I'm going to have to finish today.

I did like what I saw though.

Ep. 3 didn't follow the game much, but it was a terrific episode.

Tearjerker.

I hope they do more flashbacks to Bill in later seasons.

I have not played the game.

It doesn't follow the game very closely in this episode, other than that Bill and Frank were gay.

The show just gave it a hell of a backstory.

Watching it now and this gay turn is so unnecessary
They're gay in the game.

Bill's kind of an interesting character actually and his backstory is decent. Sorta dark and sad. Frank gets sick of him after spending 20 years together with minimal other human contact. He runs away, gets infected, and kills himself. Joel finds his suicide note which basically says that he hates Bill after all the bullshit he put him through.

Too much for this show I guess though.

The episode itself was unnecessary, but they could have at least told an interesting story instead of just copying bad fan fiction from Tumblr.

For the record, I don't buy that opening one window would have kept the smell down as much as was portrayed.

Those dudes ate a bunch of steak and wine before they died and they were gay so that had loose assholes.

Once they passed they were gonna void ALL of their bowels all over that room. There probably would have been shit or even cum flowing out from under the door.

I did appreciate they made the hardcore prepper survivalist the bottom. And got right to it.

Well, I’ve seen the first three now. No complaints. Wasn’t put out by episode three. I don’t play any games so I have no idea how it’s varying from the game plot. And I care very little if it is.

What's wrong with the young girl? Like, in real life. Serious question.
