Similar here, the only debt we have is the mortgage. We don't do car payments. The CC's we have are paid off every month and basically used to earn points/miles/cashback.

Probably be easier to just run one through the ground, from your irrigation line. Just do a PVC pipe, and mount it against something stable where you stub it up out of the ground.

she has a 2016 oddessy with 90k
I have a 2018 civic that we owe probably 4k on.

We will pay off the civic this year and probably get her a new odessy around feb of next year. i want a damn minivan i can close the back with the key fob

which brings me to another complaint. FUCK HONDA and their key fobs' the battery only last like 3 months now

I've had two Hondas and never again. Unless I find myself in need of knowing where every groove and bump in the road is by sound alone.

Loudest fucking cars ever. No tires help, either. Had a 2005 Civic we got way back when and it was base model. Louder than hell and said never again. Then a few years ago the wife fell for the Pilot. "If we get the top of the line it will be quieter". Wrong. Just as loud and the Pilot has a freaking known issue with whistling but the dealership will only sell you a kit to fix it. Fuck Honda.

we had all of our floors redone from real wood to "luxury vinyl". I wanted waterproof floors because of the pool. I really really wished i took a pic of the air filters after they finished. I had never seen such shit before.

I did a guest bath at our first house. Previous owners were morons. it was all black (1" tiles, flat black wainscoting, black baseboards, black cabinet with an ugly shallow sink) and hideous. Ripped it all out and put in something similar to what ET is doing. Finished just in time for family to come in town and stay with us. All weekend I couldn't figure out why the house was so cold, like no heat would move. After they left I went in and changed the air filter because it was due and it was caked solid and damn near sucked in half because no air could get through. Changed it and I could hear the furnace sigh in relief :)

Yea, a plumber had to dig up the drains for a leak and then patched it back in with some self leveler. It was a mess.

this reminds of story when I was a kid. My dad was a small business owner. and like most small businesses, some years were great and some not so much.

My baby sister, who was born much later than the rest of, we were trying to explain to her why we just couldn't go on vacation that year. We said mom and dad just can't afford it right now. And she said, "yes they can, They can just write a check for it."

I still chuckle over that one when I think about it.
