talking about a human & where he lands on the food chain is a fool's errand.

A bear is pretty much gonna act like a bear. he is where he is on the food chain.
Same with Mountain Lions. They are instinctual creatures. One human being to another can be vastly different.
For instance. Some on here have said they know to walk in the woods with their firearms.
These human beings are higher on the food chain.
Then you have this guy who was armed with a phone. he is definitely lower on the food chain. If there were an altercation between the cat & that guy. Who lives & who dies?

98 out of 100 times, the cat runs the fuck off like the bitch that it is. Seriously. You startle it/stumble upon it, and it feels cornered, maybe yer gonna get some scratches. The likelihood of it killing you is as close to 0% as it gets.

I think there has been less than 30 document fatal encounters in the past 100 years. Almost all of those were children.


You are more likely to be killed by lightning.
 
A full grown adult male COULD do some damage, but like I said, 9 out of 10 times, it ain't doing shit.
