Oregon & Washington To Big Ten

lol imagine hating your conference so much that you'd come in as a "decreased share" to the B10.

If I were the other teams in the PAC, I'd have a call setup later tonight with the B12. "What can we do together? UW and UO are obviously not serious, ignore them and let's move on. Take the corner schools and be done with it.

Apparently the PAC 12 can’t find a TV deal.

I would guess that the "decreased share" from the B10 is a hellava lot more than the full share from the P12

I'm not a math guy but 60% of 80M is better than 100% of 25M.

Look at the Ducks trying to prove their academic qualifications for the B1G

-signed, the B1G school that gets to go to the special classes

This is the worse kept secret out there. I cited this in the Pac12 thread and even said the Commissioner situation needs to get handled first. The only reason the B1G is being slow is because of that.

Too much parity and no dominating team(s) in the Pac12 to bring TV revenue and or to college playoffs to their conference.

Yeah, Oregon would be the Kingpin in the new Pac12 but I am not sure they move the needle like USC could when USC was on top.

If USC played teams like Vandy year in and year out and recruited as well as elite teams and stayed in the Pac12 then we might see them move the needle only because they have a big market.

Help me out ... they play teams like Cal, Stanford, WashSt, OreSt, Ariz. Don't get me wrong, Vandy is Vandy, but those are 5 teams that pretty much suck balls. USC should have won the PAC every fucking year. What am I missing?

But you are still a cuck … taking a lesser share than everyone else in the conference. Work to get 100% of $50 million.

As long as the lesser share thing is only temporarily, it's not a big deal. Nebraska had to go through the same thing.

100% of 50M would be great but it's also not on the table. You have to play with the hands you're dealt, not the ones that you wish you had.

On a serious note, if true I just think the conferences are getting too big. Are teams really in the same conference if they don't play but every like 5-8 years MAYBE? If we do enter true superconferences (18-20 team leagues) we should evaluate making the conference championship games the first leg of the 12 team playoff.
