More GA Drama, This Time Involving Jalen Carter

I drink cause I have unresolved issues, and started drinking at a young age, while my frontal cortex was still developing, and it turned into a form of functional alcoholism, through developmental chemical dependance.

I had to double check that I was still on thoop and didn’t accidentally wander into someone’s random sad online diary.

I was trying to make a funny. Missed the mark and got taken serious by some.

It seemed like ,"I drink because blank, and I blank cause I drink" was too boring

No jail time, fine, and community service. This is kind of important, too:

wait.. so he did nothing wrong? So why did he plead no contest for?

just for the speeding?

I think you guys are (rightfully) taking a LT. There are 3 good ones who could all go in the top 12.
I'm super happy to pass on him. Seeing him play Ohio State made me realize the much better value for Chicago would be Luke Wypler maybe in the late 2nd/early 3rd, because he more or less erased Carter for that game.

Correct ... speeding. The whole point is that he was not guilty of the more serious charges that have been bandied about - vehicular homicide, DUI, and leaving the scene of the accident.

I am curious ... you don't see what all the other people saw that had him a possible no. 1? Don't get me wrong, he's screwed up and it's going to cost him millions. But if you don't think Carter is a player on another level, I don't think you have watched him play, don't understand his role in our D, and/or somehow think you know more than a lot of other people who do this for a living. Even with all the shit that has gone down, he's going to go top 10. If he can straighten up, he's going to be a beast on Sundays.

Blah blah blah. He was a non-factor against OSU, the biggest game of the season for UGA. His off-field stuff is a huge red flag, and the fact that he showed up to his pro day too fat to finish drills is an even bigger one. The "people who do this for a living" are very frequently wrong, btw, so that wasn't the huge point you thought you were making. I repeat what I said, I am very happy to pass on him at 9 for not only a position of more need, but a player that is going to take his football career seriously, unlike Carter.

Cool for you.

Lots of Carter to Lions at 6 rumors heating up after our interesting FA signings.

Assuming he’s who we’re taking.

Kinda feels Nick Fairley 2.0. Only Fairley was smarter and prolly more motivated. This kid kinda seems like a loser

Yeah I don’t love it.

I’m not crazy about it just what I’m hearing.
nfl goes for ceilings not floors.. they will take a guy with question marks if he flashes eliteness

He screams Isaiah Wilson 2.0, just on the defensive side of the ball. I could see him not even lasting his entire rookie contract because he's an idiot.
