I contend, and I have for a very long time, that A24 does not make bad movies.

Having reiterated that, what’s the least compelling one iyo?

Ill set the bar at Green Room

So, in total, about 100 movies.

I’ve probably seen 5 or 6.

I’ll just go with The Monster (I think 2017), I guess.

Which was good, but the others I’ve seen were better, I guess.

So, yeah. I guess I could say I haven’t seen a bad A24 movie.

I’ve seen Ex Machina, White Noise and Uncut Gems.

I’d watch Uncut Gems again if somebody else puts it on without a discussion. But I’d resist if there were a conversation.

Maybe it was one too many seasons of Westworld, idk, but other than titties, Ex Machina didn’t do much for me. White Noise was retarded. Don’t know why it was even made. Other than practice for the real train derailment that’s killing all the Ohio fishes.

Under the Skin, easy. Boring as fuck. Green Room was nice.

A24 is the best studio out there but they do make plenty of bad movies. I try to avoid those but there are plenty out in the 5 score range or lower on IMDB.

Some of the ones I would put in the bad category ranked from worst to least worst:

The Tragedy of Macbeth
Locke
First Reformed
Everything Everywhere All At Once
The Disaster Artist (great book, movie not good)
X

Only one I’ve seen is uncut gems. The fact the movie opens with a scene up Adam Sandlers ass sets it all up well.

Only seen the first few minutes of Everything.
Haven’t seen others

Thought Pearl was better than X.

Problem eith Disaster Artist is I read the book before the movie and the book is infinitely better than the movie.

First Reformed is too much climate change propaganda bullshit.

I'm not cultured enough, apparently. Not only have I not seen a single one, I haven't even heard of 90% of them

Bruh. Locke was great.

2nded.

No overacting, no stupid plotlines, no played-out Hollywood stuff, etc.

Just ~90 mins of storytelling that, on some level, everyone can relate to.

Bruh. Locke was great.

God awful movie. It's actually a go to movie for me if I want to take a nap midday on a weekend because without fail it will put me right to sleep.
