This was a memory lane Happy Hour for me today. Did a bunch of Spiders from Mars videos, Blondie, etc. Reliving my youth.

And this. Saw them at the Commodore Ballroom. I was in mid black hash spliff during this song, about 20' from where Joan was singing bouncing on the spongy floor. Coolest place for a balls out concert ever.

I swear she looked right at me and frisbee'd her guitar pick to me. I no longer have the pick which is sad.

I also no longer have the void cheque from George Thorogood saying "pay to the order of "Hank Kingsley" $1,000,000 of rock and roll." And signed by him. Some cocksucker stole them from me and denies it to this day. Sad thing is he doesn't even display them, hidden away from everybody. Cunt.

 


just saw they're playing with Bob Mould and Dillinger Four in Minnesota. Fuck I'd love to go see that.
