Harry Potter TV Series reboot announced

And FWIW HBO has the directors cut versions with commentary. Pretty good so far.

I heard that the show is going to extremely faithful to the books with the exception that all charcters will now be black and gay.
Well to be fair, there were already black characters in it.

Rowling has been known to be pretty controlling about her story and with all the backlash she received over calling out the woke Trans mob I tend to think any branching from Canon will be small and insignificant.

I'm a fan if these books and read them when they came out. Very well done.

The fjrst 3 movies didnt leave out a lot of major stuff, and they did well covering the material. After the first 3, the books became huge and the movies stayed the same length, so there were tons of stuff happening that never made it to script.

It's a shame because I always felt a HBO series would be better than the movies but in this woke era I already know it's going to beaten with the woke stick. Characters changing races and being made gay.

Yeah, it made more sense when they broke up the 7th book into 2 movies. Goblet of Fire was the first movie I saw that actually got me into reading the books. A couple of storylines had to get left out of the movie completely.

She said once Dumbledore was gay.

I don't care if they are as long as I don't have to see two men kissing.
