I subscribe to Disney+ but don’t watch the Marvel or Star Wars stuff. That shit’s for nerds.

Some where back in my youngun' days, I took a short course on how to use the slide rule. Never used it in the real world. My father used it all the time in the oil field, gas measurements and what not.
Also, he used a round version of the slide rule. They called this a computer.
 
Engineers put man on the moon using a slide rule. If their calculations were just 1° off, they'd have missed the moon by over 4,100 miles.

The diameter of the moon is just over 2100 miles.
 
My take on Disney ...

Across the board wokeness is killing it.

ESPN ... kneeling at the National Anthem and Transgender in Women's Sports is turning people off.

Marvel is getting to complicated with it's multiverse scheme, complicating characters and jamming PC down your throat.

Star Wars is hurting from oversaturating and an unclear timeline.

Disney Princesses ... Cultural Appropriation of the "Little Mermaid", who was the weakest princess. They couldn't find a better story for a Black Princess?

I found one of these a while back. It was my wife's when she was in college. Iirc we paid almost 200 bucks for the fucking thing, when that kind of money really mattered to us. Just junk now. Threw it in the recycle bin.

When was the last time you watched any ESPN show? Not live sport but show? Other than bits of college Gameday in the fall j can’t tell you the last time I watched sportcenter or any other show. That’s why they’re dying.
