I saw this and was greatly disappointed because it could have been so much more considering there are a couple of heavy hitting actors. In parts, the CGI was poor. The story was ok, but cheesy most of the way through.

was an entertaining enough watch. caught it the other week along with Renfield and the Pope's Exorcist. Would put it 2nd behind Renfield in that grouping.

It was alright but after the spinoffs to GOT and LOTR, the bar on what to expect from movies like this is much higher than we got. Cheesy and poor cgi isn't going to cut it for adult films. If their target young was teens, then this would be ok.

I had assumed that was the target audience while watching. I didn't follow earlier in this thread where some store or whatever was going to boycott? meh. I couldn't get into the GOT spinoff, though I only watched the first 2 episodes.

looks like it is streaming on Paramount+ now, so I will be watching it soon...esp since my account goes away in June.

June? T-Mobile had a promotion for a free year not too long ago.

Granted, there's nothing on there I watch.

I wasn't following the drama mentioned in this thread. I'm not a big fan of House of Dragons either, but I made it through season one. At least the graphics are decent and the story is adult driven. This D&D movie had a lot of potential. It had some decent parts. I just had gone in expecting more intense scenes that we got.

I don't think I have the free promotion anymore...it's like $8 a month or something

it might be different if you have Magenta MAX though

It was literally 45 minutes too long
 
Just watched it on Paramount. Did it blow me away? Nope. Was it entertaining and kept my interest while I folded laundry? Absolutely

While it’s much Cgi and the plot is ‘whatever comes next’ with no cohesion or parameters, it does get better as it goes along, and the cast is very charming. Very good soundtrack.
