It's amazing how many of the top 75 didn't get second NFL contracts at the starting QB rate.

Vince Young was 1-2 vs OU including getting shut out one year.

2003- Threw more INTs than TD passes.
2004- Was shut out by OU
2005- Great year, didn’t win the Heisman.

I’d have VY somewhere around 20.

lol 2003 he wasn't the starter they threw him in there.. now i will give you 2004, but talk about a needed loss.. that was the weekend where Mack had his come to Jesus moment.. and he stopped trying to control VY in a set box. He told him go do what you do.. and Greg Davis implemented play calling that suited him more.. the rest is history, he never lost a CFB game after that game

also just to throw some salt in the ou womb.. Baker when it came in crunchtime crumbled.. meanwhile VY converts 4th and 18 vs KU, He sets up the GW FG vs UM in the rosebowl, he comes in the clutch vs tosu with a late TD winning throw and completes the comeback vs SC on 4th and 5.. guy was built for big moments once they took off his handcuffs.. that dude wouldn't have folded like Baker did.. or let the team dig itself in a huge hole like Kyler did vs Bama
 
Top 5 In no order:
Cam Newton: Pretty much unstoppable with the ball in his hands and won a Natty with the lowest amount of blue-chips on this list.
Lamar Jackson: The QB form of Reggie Bush but with a valid Heisman. Him and CB Jaire Alexander did the best you could do with that UL squad
Tim Tebow: Posted the best college career with winning and play on the field
Joe Burrow: In their prime, I'm taking Burrow over anyone else. S-tier processor, pocket movement, anticipation, touch on the ball. Imo, best prospect entering the NFL from college
Deshaun Watson: The most clutch QB on the list having the most late game drives to take the lead or put a team away in the final 4 mins. Also almost won a Natty with lowest % of blue-chips in 2015 but followed that up with winning it in 2016 with lowest amount of talent since 2010 Auburn
 
FFS, the only one that matters:

37. Stetson Fucking Bennett, Georgia
Years: 2019-22
Stats: 8,429 passing yards, 65% completion rate, 66 TD, 21 INT, 14 rushing TD
He won the starting job in 2020 and 2021 only because others got injured, but damned if he didn't make the most of his opportunities. In 2021-22, he produced the second-best Total QBR, completed 67% of his passes and, oh yeah, won a pair of national titles. In four career CFP games, he threw for 1,239 yards and 12 TDs. Not bad for a former walk-on.

UGA fans ... I know that's all of you ... here you go:

69. David Greene, Georgia
Years: 2001-04
Stats: 11,528 passing yards, 59% completion rate, 72 TD, 32 INT, 5 rushing TD
The starter for Mark Richt's first four years in Athens, Greene produced consistent numbers and finished his career with a then-record 42 wins, topping Peyton Manning's record.

43. Aaron Murray, Georgia
Years: 2010-13
Stats: 13,166 passing yards, 62% completion rate, 121 TD, 41 INT, 16 rushing TD
Murray resurrected the Mark Richt era in Athens, leading the Dawgs to within seconds of the BCS Championship game in 2012 and not only finishing with the most passing yards in the history of the SEC, but finishing nearly 1,000 yards ahead of second-place Drew Lock and nearly 2,000 yards ahead of third-place David Greene.

29. Justin Fields, Georgia/Ohio State -- (that's ESPN, not me, although I was going to do that to troll)
Years: 2018-20
Stats: 5,701 passing yards, 68% completion rate, 67 TD, 9 INT, 1,133 rushing yards, 19 TD
Thanks to the abbreviated 2020 season, Fields was a collegiate starter for basically 1.5 years. But in that time he proved startlingly accurate and dynamic, leading Ohio State to two CFP bids, one national title game and only two losses.
