man, that guy had a lot of kids

I think this guy is the biggest loss from this expedition....but if anyone onboard knew better, it would have been him.

  • French mariner Paul-Henry Nargeolet, 77, is considered to be a 'leading authority' on the Titanic
  • He has been on at least 35 dives to the wreckage site before boarding the OceanGate Expedition's Titan Sunday morning before it went missing
  • Nargeolet warned in 2019 if something bad happens when a submersible is underwater 'you're dead before you realize that something is happening'

OceanGate's HQ is 10 miles from me. I'll be passing by there later today and see if there are any media trucks/crowds outside their HQ.

It's on a marina, right next to a pier I sometimes fish from.

Since these guys can afford 250K for this trip, hopefully their estate can afford the cost of paying for the search and rescue. Seems reasonable to me.

sounds like a fun way to spend your afternoon...

My father, commander of the U.S navy ship at the scene said more banging was heard at 30 mins intervals. They have pinpointed the sound to a location 2.5miles down on the sea bed….that means they’re alive but we won’t be able to save them in time
