but the point isn't risk alone. People who do dumb things just to experience the dumb thing -- are dumb. People who do dumb things trying to gain something (knowledge for instance) aren't as dumb. Going on an experimental sub to titanic just to see something you can see more clearly on HD video via an unmanned rover, is dumb.

Very sad. Implosion and deaths likely occurred within hours of its launch on Sunday, I would think. Only 10 submersibles are certified to go to the depths of the Titanic wreck and the Ocean Gate Titan was not one of them.
