I kind of agree.
Hockey seems a lot more like figure skating and field hockey mixed.

the fuck sort of sports are you not trying to scoreHockey requires higher levels of complete athleticism, which is a combination of skating stamina and body strength, enabling players to hit their opponents on to the side boards. The essence of the game in both soccer and hockey is basically the same: to score, albeit using different objects.
its true...I read it on the interwebz

Golf.the fuck sort of sports are you not trying to score
I recently watched a documentary called Ice Guardians about the enforcer position in hockey.
Golf.
That's the only one I can think of.
The lowest score wins, therefore, you're trying not to score.thought about that one..but the point is to score.. just not as much as the other guy
I'm in favor of this. And I actually agree with Bettman's reasoning & assessment that it has become a distraction from the game - it's akin to the National Anthem stand/kneel controversy that plagued pro sports for a few years. Personally, I don't want to have to sift through 200 articles about who did or didn't wear Pride Night jerseys to see what actually happened in the game itself.
