Shout out to the socially awkward weirdo putting eight 10lb plates on a bench press bar and then has been sitting there on his phone for the last half hour.
Mother fucker is taking SELFIES

I did not see the inside beverage container on the first pic.

Carry on.

That was a pretty dayum good idea.... But definitely costs more than it should. $250-$300 would have been more reasonable.

I forget...was there something wrong, or was this sudden?
One...more...time...

At the end of 2020, my wife thought she might lose both her brothers just in front of Christmas. Her other brother nearly died of COVID. Took the better part of a year before he felt something close to normal.

Bro #1 went into hospital for back surgery. Complications from that and a prior back surgery (metal rod put in some 15 years ago corroded) nearly killed him then. But he spent so long in the hospital, muscle atrophy pretty much rendered him a quadriplegic. It took him a long time to learn to use his arms again. Even after getting out of the hospital, he was confined to a wheelchair. Thankfully his wife was a nurse and able to help him better than most wives could.

He was starting to live a more normal life again the past year and even went on a cruise. Then on Easter, he started having trouble breathing and was back in the hospital. We drove up to see him two months ago. He was alert but, on a ventilator, so he couldn't speak.
Shortly after we left, they transferred him to a hospital in Erie, PA, where they could rehab him better. They got him breathing on his own and eating solid food again. We thought he would get to go home at the end of this week. But his lungs started filling up with fluid again and that was it. They never could figure out what was causing that to happen.

Ahh man that sucks. How old a guy was he?

Thanks for taking the time TWICE to write that out. Prayers to you and yours.

Goddamn, that's too young.

Getting old blows, if for nothing other than all those that are lost. :pout:
On top of that, I got a jury duty summons.

In the two years, I wasn't working, never got anything.

Less than a month back at work, and they want me to report on Monday.

:gaah:

My favorite part of now having "senior" in the job title is you can't go more than 15 minutes without getting spammed with help requests.

Do you ever get weirded out by eating a dish that has both chicken and egg in it, or is it just me?
