F150 2014 has 145k on it. Just paid off but it’s been a $500 bill every week since.

Arkansas road to the cabin whipping its ass. So I need a rough trail car that can hang. Thinking a Wrangler. But I don’t want to give up the truck bed as well.

Was thinking of getting used jeep wrangler low miles for around $40000 and keep the truck just for special needs but it’s beat to hell. Appearance still good but I know it’s beat down and I can probably get 1/3 back of what I paid for it.

So the other option is getting a new Ram truck. Dealers are loaded and I can get 2.9%. Then buy an old jeep to hit Arkansas.

Those jeep gladiators are at 1.9%. But I don’t like the look and not sure about a new car or truck.

You can get a used Ram truck low miles for around $50000. I know they make great trucks and I’m kind sick of Ford.

I’m all fahhhked right now need tHoopers to set me skrate

Basically need something durable for Arkansas and something for around DFW

@outofyourmind call in the guard please

Oh and I called the credit union and I can get under 6% for used 3 year loan. 5.25% for 2 years

I would say no to the Gladiator if you want it to do truck things. The bed is small, it gets shitty mileage and it can’t tow for shit.

Dump the Ford and go with the Ram. My dad, sister, and I have been in the Jeep/Dodge/Ram family for basically the entire last 10-15 years (outside of a few years when I had a company car) and none of us would change it. Rams are the shit and Jeeps are great. Only issue is sometimes wonky electrical in the Jeeps but it's very, very few and far between.

Yeah I thought about it. Looks military but not a fan

My MIL has one of them. It's easy to drive but she's not hauling anything. You're right too, the mileage is bullshit for as small as it is.

Yessir. Good deals on them now or at least better. Good amount of inventory on these. I think come October and November when the 2024 lineup comes will be the perfect time.

I just bought a new Bronco Sport 4x4, but not sure it's what you are needing though

That's what I'm looking at also. Coming up to around 40k miles on my Cherokee and I've had it for four years, so I'm ready to trade up a bit.

If the suspension on your current truck is the concern, I wouldn't go Ram. They look good and are well sized, but their weakness has always been their weak suspension. I'd run like hell from the Gladiator. It is a jeep + truck but doesn't do either well.

F150 is going to last you the longest, but I get it if you are done with them.

I won’t take the truck off road any more. Basically looking at a truck and something else that can handle rough roads

Had no idea F150 suspension was better

I love my Titan, only issue was the dog pissing in it. Tundra's are bad ass and I'd never bet against a Toyota but the new ones look like shit.
