The official Michigan Owns Ohio State thread

This has got to be a sucker punch for poor @Wamu

Not at all. I know you like to pretend I think JH isn't a good coach.

I've been saying for years he is. Just look at what he did in the NFL and his winning percentage in CFB. He got off to a rough start playing ranked teams but that seems to have gotten better the last couple of seasons.

But I expect you to continue your insane delusions all season long and tell yourself I call JH's a bad coach. It's much easier for you to believe the nonsense you make up in your head rather than the truth.

I will say this though. If Day loses again might be time to replace him. Don't want another decade+ stretch like the Cooper era.

I wouldn't say that this year. Michigan returns the enormity of their top players. They had 6 guys who was named to an All-B1G team and even a guy who was 1st team all-american, who could have left for the NFL and decided to come back.
That doesn't include arguably the guy who will be our best player on defense this year -- Will Johnson, JJ McCarthy, or our top TE, who were ineligible for the draft.

Michigan will be better this year than they have been the last two years. Unless the guy who comes in for Stroud plays at an All-American level as a 1st year starter -- I don't think OSU will be as good as they were last year.

Edited to add -- So if Day and OSU lose this year, in Ann Arbor, I wouldn't scream for his head. If you lose in 2024, when we lost 80% of our starters, including our QB. Then he would definitely have to go.

This cycle was bound to happen at some point, it's college football.. the fun wrinkle that can make this chaos now from any given year is the transfer portal.

As always.. fuck Michigan :)

Damn didn't realize UofM had that much returning. Gotta say I'm a bit disappointed. That does change things a little.

2024 -- Michigan will essentially lose everyone but our top CB and our top TE. Everyone else will be gone. Michigan does not recruit at the level of the Bama's, Georgia's, OSU's, where we can lose that much and be truly competitive. So I think 2024 -- OSU is going to take ALOT of frustrations out on Michigan

They were going to unleash the MICHIGAN MONEY CANNON and get every 5* recruit they wanted. Now the excuse is "The university wont let us use NIL like everyone else"

Lol!
There is only one excuse ... the Scoreboard Numbers are not correct ... and if that happens we deal with it or y'all deal with it. I refuse to be critical of ohio state, Refs, NIL or anything else, but I also refuse to stop hating ohio state. I' been enjoying this rivalry lately, but I still have my "Shrink" on speed dial just in case.

When you haven’t beaten a team since the first Cleveland administration, the team that owns you isn’t your little brother FTR.
